THE Patriotic Front (PF) in Lusaka Province has expelled a party member who is said to have been terrorising the public at Inter-city Bus Terminus in Lusaka.

PF Lusaka Province chairperson Horace Longwe said yesterday that the party had expelled Innocent Kalimashi for perpetuating violence at the station.

Mr Longwe alleged that Mr Kalimashi was behind the violence that was being reported from the bus terminus as he was organising thugs to beat up people whenever there was a misunderstanding.

He said following the call by President Edgar Lungu for peace and his strong stance against violence, the party had decided to lead by example and part company with Mr Kalimashi.

Mr Longwe warned party members, especially the youth, to stop associating themselves with Mr Kalimashi who had ceased to be a part of them.

“I want to take this opportunity to announce that one of our members, Kalimashi has been expelled from the party.
“We are, therefore, warning all members, in particular the youths, to stop associating themselves with the former party member,” Mr Longwe said.

He said President Lungu had clearly stated that leaders, cadres, youths, men and women across all political lines should surrender to God and denounce violence.

Mr Longwe has also appealed to all political leaders to restrain themselves from promoting tribal divisions.

    • Kalimanshi has become a victim because he refused to injure HH in the CB.

This is nothing but a cheap propaganda stance . I personally want PF to arrest those thugs in CB who terrorised HH, those thugs who assaulted the journalists in Chipata and all the thugs who killed people in Lusaka Livingstone and Chalimbana.

Davies Chama should be fired and charged with attempted murder.

When all the above is done then I will start believing lungu.

    • How is it possible that a non-violent party can expel a member for VIOLENCE, when the party has no violent members in the first place????

  1. why can he not be prosecuted? what about those that shot at persons, what about those that harangued reporters in East, what about those that attacked opposition secretariat on CB? stop sugar coating, we are watching you.

  2. #do right, my question too. All along they knew what he was doing and they kept quiet. If he was a UPND cadre, he would have been behind bars already.

  3. Sounds like an admission of guilt. Why have we politicized bus stops and markets in Zambia. Give those facilities to serious investors. They ll create more jobs for the youths than the PF can create for their cadres. There will be cleaners, security guards, managers, attendants etc.

  4. At the Mulungushi PF election Lungu ‘won’ the party presidency through violence perpetrated by himself. He is a product of violence and holding office illegally. Time will tell.

  5. if we expel violent people, you condem,if we embrace them you still condenm.so tell us we are suppose to do,coz anything we do is bad in your tribal eyes.

  6. Dr kanono (ng’anga) defiled his 16year old daughter. Then he confronted him, Dr kanono pointed a gun @ him. He then hired a bus loaded with cadres from intercity n terrorised Dr kanono’s place. The ng’nga pulled some strings
