Hip? Heap!
Bootyful? beautiful!
What happened to shoring when excavating. This is not the first time such an incident is happening. We had the Livingstone incident involving the Chinese working on the water lines, Nkana Water in Kitwe on Jambo Drive /Chiwala Drive corner.
A safety officer is required on site for such works.
SAFETY OFFICER! YOU ARE ASKING FOR TOO MUCH IN ZAMBIA. THE MINISTER OF LABOUR IS ONE TOOTHLESS BULL DOG HE JUST BARKS.
The change in workmanship would prevent such accidents.. I mean, cheap labor force is what is costing many lives. Excavating trenches using cheap labour: people go into a trench with picks and shovels.. Please lets move to higher levels. Use machines and spare human life. That way you encourage the people to acquire higher education as machine operators and in that way you promote other industries that are linked to machanics…
To which families have u sent messages of condolences if u have withheld the names.
That outfit looks like it’s from a Nigerian movie. Just saying.
It’s not four people. It’s only 1 while the other one is in the hospital
Journalism! Hip – heap!!
rescued by a combined team of Mopani Copper Mines (MCM) Mine Rescue team and Fire Brigade and Mufulira Municipal Council Fire Brigade. ARE YOU SURE? ONLY MOPANI MINE RESCUE WERE WHERE INVOLVED THE COUNCIL FIRE BRIGADE WERE MERELY WATCHING.
#Highly indebted Poor Country – ZamItalo Critical-Realist, i agree with you my man. Here even to dig a small hole on the road or a drainage, they no longer use a human with pick and shovel. Agree with with #Peter too that safety is foreign in Zambia
