Luwana Radiants hold Power Dynamos in friendly

Power Dynamos produced a mixed bag of results on Friday in their two friendly games at home in Kitwe against promoted FAZ Super Division side Lumwana Radiants.

Power hosted the promoted club at Arthur Davies in what was Raidants penultimate stop of their five-day pre-season tour of the Copperbelt.

In the first game, Power’s B side thumped their Radiants counterparts 4-0.

Mathews Maleka scored a brace, James Chibwe got in on the act with one goal while Luka Chamanga, who is on trial at Power, scored the other.

In the final game between the two sides first teams, Power were held to a 1-1 draw.

Power took a 1-0 halftime lead through Emmanuel Chimpinde before Edward Sinyangwe equalised for Radiants from the penalty spot.

Meanwhile, Radiants played Mufulira Wanderers on their first stop on Wednesday at Shinde Stadium drawing 1-1 and winning 2-1 thanks to a Mike Banda brace in the latter of the two games.

Allan Kamwanga’s side then travelled to Ndola to play Forest Rangers on Thursday where they lost 1-0 and drew 0-0 in another two sets of friendlies.

Radiants wrapup their tour on Saturday afternoon in Chingola against Nchanga Rangers.
