Kitwe United maintain perfect start in Division 1

Kitwe United stayed top of the FAZ Division 1 Zone 2 after securing an away 2-1 win over ZNS Lwamfumu at the weekend.

The Buchi Boys scored through forward Emmanuel Chabula and defender Andrew Tembo to move to six points after two games played.

Kitwe last week kicked off FAZ Division 1 Zone 2 season with a 2-0 win over Konkola Blades in Kitwe.

The Garden Park outift lead the table by two points after their closest rival Roan United forced a goalless draw away at Ndola United to move to four points.

In other Week 2 games, Indeni beat Chingola Police 1-0 in Ndola and Konkola defeated Copperbelt Buffaloes 2-1 at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

Kalulushi Modern Stars recorded a 1-1 draw away at Bresmer United in Solwezi while Chambishi thumped FQM Mining 3-0 and Kansanshi Dynamos drew goalless with Gomes Wanderers.
