Mweene was on the bench in Sundowns’ 3-1 win over Medeama of Ghana in a last 16, first leg, match played on Saturday in Pretoria.
-Gabon, CF Mounana
Twenty four hours earlier in Sousse, Tunisia, CF Mounana of Gabon lost 2-0 away to Etoile du Sahel.
Striker Alex Ngonga played the full 90 minutes for Mounana.
The final leg deciders will be played during the weekend of May 17-28 with the victors over both legs advancing to the Confederation Cup group phase that kicks off in June.
