Kitwe United eye Barclays Cup qualification

Kitwe United coach Ernest Kofi says the FAZ Division One Zone Two side are this season targeting to qualify for the 2016 Barclays Cup.

The Buchi Boys are second on the table with 18 points, two below leaders Konkola Blades after nine matches played.

The Ghanaian trainer said besides qualifying for the Barclays Cup the Buchi Boys must win promotion back to the topflight league.

“Our aim this season is to qualify for Barclays Cup and get to the Super League by the grace of God,” Kofi said.

Kofi is demanding that Chingalika maintains their good start to the season.

“Going forward I am telling my players to continue with their hard work. It should be hard work non stop until the season is over,” he said.

Kofi has briefly managed to turn around Kitwe’s fortunes since he was recruited at the start of the season.
