GIVEN LUBINDA CAUTIONS AGAINST DARK FORCES AHEAD OF AUGUST POLLS

Mr Given Lubinda, the Minister of Agriculture has cautioned Zambians to be on the look out for ‘evil and dark forces’ emanating from sections of the opposition ahead of the August 16 polls.
Mr Lubinda cited violent behaviour and total disregard of the law emanating from some opposition pockets as a ‘sign of times’ that must be guarded against as he asked right thinking Zambians to turn to God.
“You keep hearing about Black Friday this, Black Sunday that or whatever…it clearly denotes evil,” Mr Lubinda said, “in a Christian nation whose President (Edgar Lungu) has constantly turned to God for help, you can’t have such talk. We must guard against dark forces.”
The Agriculture Minister said Zambians must take a cue from President Lungu who called for national day of prayer last October instead of following leaders that preach “hate and darkness.”
Mr Lubinda said dark spirits could be at play, “especially among those that are not happy that President Lungu has re-affirmed the decree of Zambia as a Christian Nation that shall shun evil in any form.”
When he (President Lungu) called for a national day of prayer on 18th October 2015, the opposition UPND through spokesperson Charles kakoma, called President Lungu’s call to turn to God as a “waste of time.”

MINISTER LUBINDA REGRETS DEMISE OF UPND CADRE DURING DEMNSTRATION

Mr Lubinda has regretted the death of UPND cadre Mapenzi Chibula who died after she was shot at with live bullets during a demonstration staged to protest against a legally cancelled rally in Lusaka recently.
Mr Lubinda, however, said the senseless loss of a young life would have been avoided had the opposition UPND heed a police order to “not hold a rally in Chawama due to security concerns.”
“PF rallies have been cancelled and we have heed police orders because we are lawful citizens,” Mr Lubinda said, “if they (UPND) had not disobeyed a police word of caution, that young lady would have still been alive.”
Mr Lubinda added that the death of Chibula remained “shrouded in mystery” and wondered whether she was shot by the police as earlier alleged or maybe she was shot by someone else at the illegal opposition gathering.
“There is something suspicious about the death of the girl,” Mr Lubinda said, “a series like movie was captured of her from the time she arrived at the rally to the point where she was shot almost as if someone knew something bad would happen to her…police must investigate that footage closely and interrogate the person who took it.”
Armageddon or ‘the end of the world’ has no place in Zambia, which has a “deeply Christian President in the name of President Lungu. We are tired of invoking evil and dark forces of Black Friday this or Black Sunday…we want peace and love as Christians. That is what President Lungu prays for.”
An opposition party in Zambia has been associated with devil worshiping cults which could be immensely opposed to the fact that President Lungu, a devout Christian continues to pray to God with the rest of the nation such as when the country experienced droughts last year that devastated the rest of the sub region or southern Africa.
“We are like to have a God fearing President and not one that looks to dark and evil forces,” Mr Lubinda said.”

LUBINDA CAUTIONS AGAINST VIOLENT LEADERS

Mr Lubinda has warned Zambians to check the temperament of those aspiring for high office before they can vote for them because some of them have documented fantastic records of violence.
“There are leaders who if they differ with their wives, the wife will end up in hospital because they can only settle differences with fists and violence,” Mr Lubinda said, “you have to be careful and guard against voting for such leaders. You cannot beat wives and workers just because you have differed.”
Even though the Kabwata legislator did not name any aspirant, The Post in recent publications have exposed businessman Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba aka GBM as a violent man who takes keen interest in beating his wife in order to show love.
Hakainde Hichilema, the UPND President has come under constant fire for choosing a man with a recorded history of violence as running mate in the August polls compared to President Lungu who has chosen Mrs Inonge Wina.
GBM, Hichilema, the women’s ,lobby group that often voice out on political issues have chosen to remain totally quite regarding Mr Mwamba’s record of violence, almost as if it is alright to husbands in the UPND to beat up their wives.
“Why have the women’s group, the law association of Zambia chosen to remain silent on this matter (GBMs violent record) and yet they talk about various trivial issues?” asked Mr Lubinda.

LUBINDA ON MEALIE MEAL PRICES

Mr Lubinda has said mealie meal prices in Zambia will soon reduce as the country continues to increase production and explore other foods for export such as soya and wheat.
The Minister added that despite the complaint, Zambian mealie meal is in fact the cheapest in the region fetching below 100 kwacha as compared to neighbouring countries the sub region where prices of mealie are costing as much as the equivalent of 400 Kwacha.
Mr Lungu also cautioned the opposition to tone down on desperation and admit the fact that prices of commodities will always rise based on costs of in-puts and sometimes the laws of supply and demand.
“President Lungu is the only President of Zambia who has shown a practical aspiration to make agriculture a money earner the way copper is and the more we produce under his guidance and of course myself as Minister of Agriculture, the cheaper the food will become,” Mr Lubinda said.
PRESIDENT LUNGU IS A FRONT RUNNER SAYS GIVEN LUBINDA
President Lungu will “easily” secure a re election in the August poll because he has shown resilience and mature leadership says Agriculture Minister Given Lubinda on a live Let the People Talk radio programme aired on Radio Phoenix.
“President Lungu is without any doubt a front runner in the election,” Mr Lubinda said, “he has the right temperament, immense humility and all the qualities needed for good leadership apart from the fact that he is a tested leader. He will definitely win re-election next month.
Mr Lubinda in the same breath cautioned the opposition UPND not to up their hopes too much regarding prospects of Hichilema possibly winning the elections because they could get deeply disappointed.
“You hear some people say Mpaka fye li tulike Mpaka fye (He must win against all odds) what are you going to do if he (HH) loses?” Mr Lubinda said, “this is what brings about violence perpetuated by some parties… elections are about the free will of voters and you can’t say they will vote for you candidate no matter what.”
Mr Lubinda nevertheless concluded by saying President Lungu has in the past 18 months demonstrated to the Zambian voters that he is a leader they can trust.
Zambia goes to the polls for second time in under two years and local and international book makers have placed President Lungu as a front runner as endorsements come big and thick from people like former President Rupiah Banda and former vice President Enoch Kavindele to mention but a few.

  1. “There is something suspicious about the death of the girl,” Mr Lubinda said, “a series like movie was captured of her from the time she arrived at the rally to the point where she was shot almost as if someone knew something bad would happen to her…police must investigate that footage closely and interrogate the person who took it.”

    • Which police should investigate then? Certainly NOT the PF infiltrated police because they are the ones that murdered her – so what is the point? Kanganja and Lungu should prepare to face the courts on this case when UPND forms Government.

    • I THINK LUBINDA IS THE CHIEF CADRE OF THEM ALL. LUBINDA AT ONE POINT WAS A PROMISING AND UPCOMING VOICE OF REASON IN ZAMBIAN POLITICS BUT I THINK TOO MUCH DRINKING WITH LUNGU HAS FRIED HIS BRAIN. WHAT A USELESS STATEMENT. I THINK MR LUBINDA YOUR TIME TO RETIRE IS NOW
      “KABWATA VOTE BA SATA “!!!!

  2. Lubinda is just a shameless opportunist and a weak soul who should be ignored completely and should never be anywhere near power! Where, in a normal democracy, can you find such blatant abuse of state facilities and resources against the opposition in an election year? Why should the opposition campaign at the mercy of PF and PF Police? In fact the opposition will do well not obey the police, otherwise they will never campaign. For Lubinda’s information, no amount of scheming will remove the fact that it is PF’s irresponsible and abusive acts towards the opposition that caused Mapenzi’s death! The back stops with Edgar, he is responsible for Mapenzi’s death!

  3. Outgoing frail dictator Edgar Lungu has procured pistols and rifles for PF thugs that are being trained in Mimosa area and OP Facilities and staying at Ndozo lodge in Chilanga with a view to cause bloodshed, especially during the last two weeks leading up to the election day. The PF has so far recruited over 500 thugs that they have infused into the police and OP to cause mayhem at the polling station in selected constituencies and polling stations, especially constituencies with high numbers of voters. Some of the targeted areas are, Lusaka: Chawama, Mandevu, Munali, Kanyama and Matero. Copperbelt towns: Kitwe, Mufulira, Chililabombwe. Luapula Province: all areas with emphasis on Chiengi and Kaputa. Chiengi has a mobile polling station that overlaps into the DRC.

    • All the Red Flags are there to indicate that these PF thugs are going to rig these elections! The opposition should develop counter strategies. Closing the Post Newspaper is part of the plan to rig the elections! PF IS WICKED!

    • Bo Lubinda stop outdated politics ,your friends HH and GBM are busy talking about how they will improve people’s lives you are busy talking of evil forces which we can not see.All we see is PF thugs killing people. No amount of mudslinging will help you.Zambians are not stupity.PF is a party of crooks,Criminals and thieves.

  4. Lungu will sponsor the thugs to attack certain chosen polling stations to create confusion and the infiltrated Police will tear gas the people who will in the process run away, leaving the compromised Electoral Commission of Zambia officials and its agents to mark ballots in favour of PF and later reopen the polling stations and call everyone back to start the counting process. This is likely to take place starting at 15:00hrs in the afternoon after weighing voters turn out in former PF strongholds. Insiders from both OP and State House as well as ECZ indicate that ECZ Chairperson Essau Chulu is aware of the scheme and is constantly updating Lungu at a special location in State Lodge owned by Terrance Findley, owner of Chrismar Hotel.

  5. If what PF is doing in this country was done by the Colonial Masters, even PF and Lubinda would have joined in the struggle to fight the Colonial Masters and remove them. If we don’t remove PF in August, Zambia will be like Zimbabwe.

  6. Yap Yap Yap
This is the same rich lubinda who gave his daughter a GRZ scholarship to Russia meant for poor zambia students….

while meali meal prices are skyrocketing.
Ati meali meal is the cheapest in the region…have you no shame that costs of production is zambia are among the highest in the region…???.

  7. Ba Socrates it is not every time to comment, sometimes it’s good to keep quite you just expose your foolishness, from January 2015 to date, have you seen how we have moved in terms of development. sometime we close our mouths just to fear that foolishness may come out of you.

  8. To think that at one point I thought this man was presidential material. We all wondered why ba Sata sidelined him. The man is trully treacherous. And heartless too. A minister of agriculture who is currently drawing a hefty salary illegally mocking his pay masters not complain about the cost of their staple food.

  9. ….the basic question for everyone every family is….are they better off now in terms of standard of living than they were 7…8 years ago..??…if YES they know what to do and if NO they also know what is the logical thing to do on 11th August…95% of those who would say yes are those either in govt or closely associated wth those in govt……
…….at times death of somebody can be a blessing to someone…Had MCS been stl alive today…Lubinda could have been ‘globe’ trotting campaigning with the GBMs..Nevers…HHs..the Masebos…and the ‘dark forces’ as he puts it….

    • 8years ago teachers and other civil servants used to walk or boarding buses when going for work. The question whether their li we had improved can be best answered by yourself.

    • @techilema…
…I dd not say you assess and talk on behalf of others…I said each one and each family must assess their own status and do what they think is right on 11th August….im not a teacher, why should I speak for them..you are the type who switch off you brain and close your eyes and blindly get dragged to where ever…
…my comment was neither in favour of ruling party nor the opposition…its general
..u seem to be the type who wouldn’t say hi to your childhood friend just because he is wearing UPND regalia…be yourself man and grow up..

  10. Up@d killed Mapenzi. They planned to kill three had it not been for the police intervention. That’s why hh even before Mapenzi was certified dead he was on radio saying three people have been killed. Mapenzis death was already planned for that’s why a video of her activities was recorded upto the time she was burried and now they are using her image in the campaigns.

    • Walesa mune. This cadre was sacrificed by HH. He wanted three but to his surprise only one. He is very disappointed.

  11. Wow, this was quite a long monologue indeed. But hon Lubinda, is it asking too much to await the police report and forensic analysis before getting worked up by this suspense movie theory started by ba Frank Walya? While we are at it, is it also asking too much for these experienced PF leaders to have live political debates with the under 5 UPND characters? I am sure the under 5s will be so exposed and the mighty PF show the nation why they are being re-elected. Or maybe the IG of police might consider such a debate as a threat to national security and thus cancel it??

  12. The murder of Mapenzi by the PF police has placed ECL and his minions in a difficult situation. They are trying everything possible to sway the majority of Zambians who place the blame squarely on PF.
RB tried to wash his hands on the Barotseland killings but masses did not believe him.The rest is history…

  13. Lubinda is one of the main *****s and fools in Zambia. Everyone is wrongly using the name of God to do evil, why cant Zambians wake up see through the hypocrisy in these foolish leaders. Lungu is asking his security wings to kill people and at the same time asking the country to pray for peace, how foolish can Zambians be to believe that Lungu means well for the country. Don’t pay attention to what people do, pay much attention to what they are actually doing, talk is cheap. These guys are killing people, smile about it, blame everyone but themselves and in the end ask people to pray for peace. Very blasphemous indeed. Zambia has the most stupid people in Africa, people who cant tell when they are being cheated, wake up Zambia. Its very disgusting to hear and see foolish people being…

  14. this is one reason why PF should be removed from power. Lubinda has become a tup!d!d !d!ot person. God will not hear your prayers because you are mocking God and God will judge you and your PF for Mapenzi’s blood and the blood of the others.

  15. Imwe makandi yenu ba Upnd tamumfwa. That Upnd rally was cancelled be police were tipped about what was going to happen. HH planned to sacrifice 3 people. Even if the rally was not cancelled Mapenzi was going to be killed because it was planned. Why do you think police cancelled the rally citing security reasons?

    • ….I now regret and realise how f00lish I was to reply to your comment earlier on…so you are this type of a blogger..??…I wonder how old you are…

    • Is this the IG blogging? Mr Kangaja, please arrest the person who shot Mapenzi because you appear to know them whether PF UPND or buju

  16. What Lubinda is telling us is that we should not vote for HH because he has chosen a wife battering and violent man in GBM.
He says instead we should vote for ECL who is a Jameson addicted and self confessed ‘man without vision’ who was convicted of corruption and has since acquired untold millions ( far at odds with his earnings ) within a short time as president because he is a humble christian…

Sounds like the words of a desperate hypocrite to me.
And this idea of playing the christian card for political mileage is not only sinful, but also assumes Zambians are small brained idi.ots..

    • Lubinda himself is a convicted thief who stole alot of money (Froex) from the Chikuni Jam Factory which was set up by the Catholics!!

  17. Lubinda is a known thief who stole alot of money from an organisation called Chikuni Jam Factory. This was a local community organisation set up by the Catholics to help poor local people living at Chikuni, Chisekese, Monze. THIEF LUBINDA, THIEF LUNGU, they are both made of the same feather! They are true thieves – kick them out of office next month!!

    • Listen to HH carefully. In the ten years he has been in politics, he has said NOTHING about the separation of secret societies from politics, the man is a bluffer. Ask HH hard questions. Ask him where he has found money to finance his campaign? HH does not mention rural areas, women sufferings and abuse, violence against women because his intention is to rule for small elite. No sane Zambian will give him the vote to rule.

    • @Capt Sankara don’t use the name of the great son of Africa in vain. The only cults to talk about involve Bishop Joshua Banda,ECL and the National house of Satanic prayers…

  18. I have a big problem with people who seem to have the monopoly of wisdom. Every one of us has a choice based on our own convictions. Firstly I don’t believe ECL is a Christian because he has no testimony and particular local church he goes to and even HH belonging to SDA is not reason enough to vote for him. Zambians must think beyond religious affiliations. Consider our current situation and if it gives us hope of better things in near and longer future, let’s keep the PF but if the current gives a bleak and uncertainty especially with situation leaning on things becoming worse, let Zambia unite and change government.

  19. Bo Lubinda enjoy now you opportunist, nothing stays forever. Enjoy the maize deals but God is in control he will deliver his children. God is always on the side of the oppressed one day things will change for the better.

  20. Lubinda is an a$$-hole! I am so happy with what Michael Sata did to him. He was $hitting diarrhea everyday but look at him now Mr. Pompous. In short he is blaming the deceased for being at a cancelled rally. Bravo Mr. Di.c.k Head which just goes to show how $tupid you are. Did anyone ever tell you a cancellation needs at least 24hrs in order for everyone to know in time? You are an a$$ licke.r Lubinda and you will go down for uttering such a statement. Please just go disinfect your mouth with bleach because whatever is coming out stinks!
