Patriotic Front (PF) has said that the behavior the opposition United party for National Development (UPND) is exhibiting has demonstrated what UPND would have done if it were in government and lost the general elections.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya said that no one can doubt at this point that the UPND would have refused to hand over power to another political party.

Mr. Bwalya said that this is also enough evidence that the opposition UPND is a dangerous political party that should never be allowed to be in government.

Mr Bwalya called on the law enforcement agencies to take seriously the muted plan by the UPND that it will use to fight for justice and that law enforcement agencies should not to allow the UPND’s plan to materialize as it believes the plan is evil and will lead to bloodshed in the Country.

Meanwhile, the ruling PF in Shibuyunji District has described as unacceptable UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema’s continued accusation that the August 11th general elections were rigged.

PF Shibuyunji District Chairman Joseph Kasonde has wondered why Mr. Hichilema participated in the elections when he knew that he would be defeated.

And Mr. Kasonde says he is particularly concerned that UPND members are not being sincere to Mr. Hichilema by not helping him accept the fact that he lost the elections.
He says Mr. Hichilema’s continued public utterances clearly shows that he is still in denial of the loss he suffered to President Edgar Lungu.

Mr. Kasonde has appealed to the Church, elderly statesmen and other counseling groups to help the UPND leader understand that President Lungu will remain in charge of the Country until 2021.

    • Mayando True I can’t agree with you more. PF should have a well anticulated workable progressive service delivery plan with well defined objectives and monitoring system that can be measured after 4 years. Vindictiveness will not take PF any where but only waste valuable time for progressive thinking. Touch those sensitive areas that the majority poor are looking forward to be improved

    • This is called projection in Psychology. Without evidence, you project your behavior on another person and accuse them of what you yourself are. To any informed person, it’s hard to believe that PF is the good guy and UPND the bad guy in this election. And it’s typical of dictatorships, to divert people’s attention from themselves to others. It’s called propaganda. They create a bogeyman to frighten the naive and keep them distracted. They label others “dangerous, unfit, blah blah blah, just so they can appear good to the uninformed. This guy claims that he has ” evidence that the opposition UPND is a dangerous political party that should never be allowed to be in government.” If they were dangerous they wouldn’t have chosen to go to the courts of law in the first place…

    • (Continued)… “Dangerous” people don’t choose to resolve issues by going to the courts. Dangerous people don’t live by the rule of law. UPND were just exercising their constitutional rights by going to the courts of law, as the constitution prescribes. What’s dangerous about seeking justice? And who are you to label a political party that almost half the country voted for as “dangerous,” and say, “they should never be allowed to be in government?” That sounds like you’re the one that’s dangerous. We don’t need another one party state. We need a strong opposition to keep you in check. And about them not handing over power, that’s pure conjecture based on some unsubstantiated, hypothetical invent that hasn’t even happened yet. Pure speculation. So far, UPND has acted…

    • (Continued)… more civil than you guys in PF. It’s your party that’s now threatening civil servants that they’ll not see any pay raise because they didn’t vote for PF. Now that’s what’s dangerous.

  1. Mr. Frank Bwalya (or is it “Father Frank Bwalya?), we have known you over time as one nincompoop who blats out things from hs diarrhearal mouth and then think later. Walimona po iwe umuntu beta ati “wishi” ushafyala po? Kupusa bati!!!

    • Corrupt men who hid behind religion. Now the true colours of who these people
      are is being exposed.
A man who has no morals, sells his soul to the devil for a dime.

  2. When HH said fight for your freedoms. Did he mean that UPND supporters go & riot at state house?

Frank Bwalya, I feel sorry for the souls you corrupted under your priesthood because you must have misinterpreted the bible to many innocent souls too!

    • @Spark Jarrow: Fight for what and whose freedoms? This is the guy who went around FIGHTING to kill the BoR which would have given many a Zambian much, much, much more freedoms and rights than anything your HH can think of ‘farting’ right now. So whose freedoms is he really trying to fight for through illegal means? Or is it freedom him and his fellow clique of TENDERPRENEURS to STEAL once more from poor Zambians? Give me a freaking break!

Never seen such DESPERATION FOR POLITICAL POWER in my life. “Fight for your freedom” my @ass!

    • Don’t be followers be thinkers.
These men and women you are supporting don’t have your interests at heart.
They are not in power to develop the country but themselves. Your leader is nothing
but a world tourist. He should have been touring the country to check on developments.

  3. However long it takes, perhaps even 10, 20, 30, 50 years, the one who breached Article 104(3)and those who helped him will face Lady Justice.

The wheels of justice turn slowly. They do turn. A crime has no expiry date and it cannot be legislated away. This crime will not go away, it has been done. Retribution follows.

    • You UPND !d!ots are really LOADED with MANIACAL FANTASIES, aren’t you? No one breaching any Article of our Constitution and nothing is going to happen to anybody. Even when you live to be 150 years, you will NEVER witness any of your FANTASIES come true. Just snap out of it badala!

    • Thanks @Catch-up!

Please extend my appreciation to all your fellow members of the 1MBECILE COMMITTEE for this distinguished honor. This is are accolade I will forever cherish given the ESTEEMED 1MBECILES who sat and voted for this humble 1mbecile. I would also like to sincerely request that you pass my heart felt gratitude to one of your honorary 1MBECILE COMMITTEE member, Kalusa HH.

      I thank you!

      ********** What a miserable twit!!!!!! *********

  4. We also understand that HH is afraid and scared of the massive rigging they carried out in “his” three Provinces where they chased election officers and remarked ECL ballots to validate them as spoilt votes. Shame on you HH!

    • So why don’t you support the nullification of the election results so that we can have a rerun? Clearly that’s what PF and ECZ did because Eastern Province had 14,000 spoiled votes out of 87,000 in the whole country. Are easterners so dumb they cannot vote properly unless it is for Lungu?

    • @8.1 Buck Teeth Lungu, why should one push for a nullification even after getting they are looking for? If there was rigging in the 3 “UPND” provinces, which still failed to make them win,why would PF get so bothered about that when they have won,the main thing that matters in a election! The ECZ is carrying out votes verification and we are likely to hear one or two things at the end of the exercise! UPND wanted a nullification or rerun so that they could put Lungu aside from Presidency and then use their tricks to influence the outcome countrywide the way they did in the 3 provinces. That is why instead of providing the “overwhelming evidence” they claimed to have went around to load their petition with 80 unnecessary issues all aimed at Lungu to leave the Presidency with out…

  5. This is a clear admission by Frank Bwalya that PF lost the election but will not handover power. That is why they blocked the Petetion Hearing becoz this would have revealed that Lungu lost this election outright and did not even meet the 50% +1 vote threshold. PF is guilty conscious and this electoral theft will hound them for life. They will soon realise that it is easier to rig elections than fix the economy especially under International sanctions. Even IMF may no longer be willing to finance electoral theft and human rights violations in Zambia.

    • Legitmacy is the bedrock of sound bilateral and multi lateral relations. Governments must not encourage outlaws and democracy thieves.

I adopt as my own, the words of a blogger who has made a clarion call to the Western world to appropriately sanction Lungu and his tandem of thieves. This will help stem the tide of future despots who will want to tread the road of PF Lungu. Let democracy flourish…..punish PF Lungu!!

And the citizens can also help by going into passive non-acceptance of this rigged election by only paying taxes when it is almost impossible to avoid /evade, stop supporting those churches that encourage dictatorship and use to max the free government services.

    • Zambian needs to start using electronic voting, like many (developed) countries have done. Namibia was the first African country to use electronic voting machines in their 2014 presidential elections. Except for a few concerns by the opposition, the system worked just fine there. Electronic voting enables fast vote counting, and results given in a matter of a few hours ( say 2 to 3 hours) instead of days as was the case in Zambia. It also reduces the chances of manipulation, eliminates the need for the printing of ballot papers, and the cumbersome job that comes with their transportation and storage. And no votes can, intentionally or unintentionally, be thrown in a waste basket, as what happened in Zambia when 14,000 UPND votes were reportedly thrown out. The electronic voting machine…

    • (Continued)… can store the results for many years, which makes it easy to recount, if there is need to do so. It also cuts on the number of staff that you need to run an election, which becomes a huge savings financially. No more suspicions of loads of trucks with pre printed ballot papers traveling at night to help rig the election. Though this system looks like it’s expensive, in the long run there are far more benefits than drawbacks. And the main benefit is that it reduces the suspicions, finger pointing, accusations, manipulations that are usually associated with ballot paper manual voting. This, with a few more changes, will help improve our electoral process in Zambia. The only thing is politicians who are bent on staying in power indefinitely will be very hesitant to agree to…

  6. We also understand that HH is afraid and scared of the massive rigging they carried out in “his” three Provinces where they chased election officers and remarked ECL ballots to validate them as spoilt votes. Shame on you HH!

  7. Tomorrow is inauguration day for President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and his running mate Mama Inonge.
To other opposition parties, please make yourselves relevant to the growth of our democracy and don’t let the bitter and jealous people in UPND overshadow you. After all, Zambia needs a vibrant and useful opposition besides UPND for it to effectively deliver development to it’s people in the next 5 years under the able leadership of of President Lungu.

    • Democracy is a contest of ideas to serve. Democracy is not snuffing the people’s will. That is what Mugabe and his like do.

To govern by brute force is what dictators do. The human spirit is however indomitable. Lungu through this stolen election will have the worst outcome for Zambia. Tribalism will increase and to live in another province will take courage. Traders and fishermen from a particular impoverished region, take note.

We call on the international community to tighten the diplomatic, financial and economic spanners on this Lungu. All lenders, be warned, whatever you dole out to Lungu is at your peril. He is a dictator and the successive governments will not be liable for money borrowed to brutalise citizens.

  8. JUST LIKE U HAVE FAILED TO HAND OVER POWER YOURSELVES. I AM NOT A CARDER BUT THE PAST ELECTION WAS PATHETIC TO SAY THE LEAST. I FAIL TO COMPREHEND THAT THEY ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE PROUD OF THIS. JUST LOOK AT WHO IS COMING FOR INAUGURATION, IT COMPLETE THE PUZZLE

    • Tell me which election you and your Kalusa HH have ever accepted since this LOSER showed on the Zambian political scene? So these ridiculous and outlandish claims of RIGGING, STOLEN VOTES, JUDGES BEING PAID BY ECL, ECZ HELPING TO RIG, extra, all sound very hollow and familiar. They have lost their meaning and relevance coming from PERPETUAL CRY BABIES like yourselves. So enjoy your PITY PARTY while serious people work.

Fortunately, you have 5 years to mourn. I am pretty sure is is long enough for y’all to cry your eyeballs and feel sorry for yourselves. Try again in 2021. Just don’t try to do anything stup!d in meantime because ‘baka milonga’.

  9. Millington

if what you say is true you go to court let the con conurt hear you and let the con court hear upnd than you will know who is speaking the truth.

    • Well HH has not handed over power in the party despite losing a record 5 TIMES! When was the last time UPND had a convention? What does the party’s constitution say about the length of time of a leader, moreover a perpetually losing one?

  10. FRANK BWALYA, AN ARCHTECT OF DECEPTION IN ZAMBIA! WE ALL KNOW THAT IT IS FRANK BWALYA’S BRAINWORK TO RIG THE JUST ENDED ELECTIONS FOR LUNGU IN THE MANNER THEY DID. FRANK BWALYA HAS OFFENDED AND INSULTED MILLIONS OF THE ZAMBIAN PEOPLE WHO USED REASONING TO VOTE FOR A BETTER PRESIDENT BY VOTING FOR A CHANGE, WHICH WAS TRAMPLED UPON BY FRANK BWALYA AND HIS BOY EDGAR LUNGU. THESE CONMEN AND THIEVES SHOULD BE PUNISHED BY GOD ALMIGHTY.
WE ALL KNOW THAT HH IS THE PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA BECAUSE HE IS THE ONE ZAMBIANS VOTED FOR. HH SHOULD JUST BE STRONG ENOUGH AND DECLARE HIMSELF PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA, AND CHALLENGE ANYONE REFUTING IT TO COME OUT IN THE OPEN AND PRODUCE EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY. WE THE ZAMBIAN PEOPLE ARE READY TO RALLY BEHIND HH. VIVA HH VIVA! VIVA UPND VIVA!

  11. HOW MANY TIMES DID SATA HANDOVER POWER AT A PARTY LEVEL? I’M NOT SAYING THIS IS GOOD BUT PERSONALLY I HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS THE CASE. OPPOSITION POLITICAL PARTIES HAVE NO FUNDS TO RUN THESE POLITICAL PARTIES AND THE INDIVIDUAL HAS TO STRUGGLE TO KEEP THE PARTY AFLOAT. THIS IS THE MORE REASON PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO HANDOVER POWER EASILY. PEOPLE LIKE GEN. MIYANDA HAVE ALL IT TAKES TO BE PRESIDENTS OF THIS COUNTRY BUT WHY HAVENT THEY MADE IT? RESOURCES I GUESS.

  12. I agree with father Frank Bwalya. The spirit in upnd currently leaves so much to desire. Before and after election upnd has exhibited peculiar behaviour not fit for one who wants to run the government. 1.Upnd ni ba mushebwa they believe they know it all hence they have positioned hh to be their demi god. 2.they are bitter people one can clearly see right through them. 3. Their tenderprenur spirit is what is making them not to concede defeat. 4. They are pathological liars such that they have even started believing in their lies..5. They can’t comprhend the fact that God can use any one despite his background. 6. If there are billioners in kwacha or dollars they have failed to make any impact, in short they are greedy compared to other known billioners. The list is endless. For now…

  13. Just because your President refused to hand over power to the Speaker during the petition, you think UPND would have refused also? The best that some of you cadres can do is just keep quiet. Go on, enjoy your so called victory but remember time will catch up with you.

    • However long it takes, perhaps even 10, 20, 30, 50 years, the one who breached Article 104(3) and those who helped him will face Lady Justice.

The wheels of justice turn slowly. They do turn. A crime has no expiry date and it cannot be legislated away. This crime will not go away, it has been done. Retribution follows.

Frank Bwalya has confirmed what we all knew. The commission of this crime was with malice aforethought; the so called guilty mind. The Act + Malafide Intent = Crime. Criminals may hide for long but ultimately do get caught. The Nazi war criminals who are still being hunted.

  14. They said they were not GOING to accept the outcome. They said they were going to present PVT never witnessed before. They said vote NO on the referendum. The results, the majority voted for ECL and please let him provide the leadership. All the gymnastics of holding meetings to provoke situations shall end when ECL hands over power to himself. Thank you sincere opposition parties for the challenge. You keep PF awake.

  15. stop making misleading comments and wild claims. Read Article 101 and clearly understand what it says. There is nowhere were it asks the incumbent to step aside. Mukasumina lisa you be crying for how long. Move on

  16. Father Bwalya is right 100%.HH can’t hand over power if in govt.HH is a dictotor supported by tribalists. If u join politics thru tribalism it’s not easy to hand over power bcoz u think about tribe always.HH can make a cartel where by all positions can be filled by pipo from three provinces in order to enjoy power.Indeed chaos can be witnessed in Zambia if UPND forms Govt.God is great bcoz UPND supporters especially some brothers and sisters from southern can punish other tribes. We hear them when they speak.HH should start learning how to embrace other tribes not only when it suits him.U can see how they are fighting despite losing in 7 provinces but the these pipo want to rule.U can’t win in rural provinces as opposition and expect to form govt.Opposition should start winning in towns…

  17. By the way, we are still waiting for the concourt to tell us if Edgar was right or wrong not to hand over power to the speaker during the petition. So let’s stop speculating. Some of the rulings can be made the same day or same week at the latest but with our rotten system anything can happen. Justices Chibomba and Munalula you are the heroes of the year because you refused to be bought by a few pieces of silver. You are women of integrity and Honour. And please keep that indomitable spirit burning.

  18. frank Bwalya will never cease to amaze me. Please lets be truthful about these matters . Its the PF that has refused to hand over Power and gone to the extent of declaring today half day all meant to block the UPND appeal to the supreme Court .
Mr Frank Bwalya , it works like this: On friday your High Court Judge delayed judgement to 19.00hours and therein ruled that he has no powers to hold the swearing in from taking place thereby allowing the UPND to appeal to the supreme court. your Secretary to the cabinet then decides over the weekend to declare today monday a half holiday and tuesday a full holiday. See the plan here is to make sure the supreme court sitting is frustrated and any decision ilegal for having been made on a holiday.
    you are playing dangerous politics.

  19. HH GO TO DUDUMWEZI AS A PRESIDENT AND GET LOOK AFTER YOUR CATTLE UNDER 5 FIVE BOY. ITS FIVE YEARS B4 WE START ANOTHER RACE TO PLOT ONE. LOST KACHEMA

  20. What disappoints me most is that UPND allowed itself to be cheated when it knew well before the election that this might happen. In a PVT system you have to have a representative at each polling station to monitor things especially in critical places like Lusaka and the Copperbelt. And if anyone moves them out you immediately raise a storm over it the way you did with that midnite plane from Uganda and the Mwaliteta ECZ truck. With these incidents I thought you guys were up to the task and every loophole had been sealed and you were being very VIGILANT to “GUARD YOUR VOTES and DONT LET THEM STEAL YOUR VOTES” as HH and GBM kept urging you. Then what happened? you got tired and slept?

    • So kwangala you are proud of stolen votes,PVT works when you are dealing with people who respect the law,not your fellow kwangalas in PF.With this PF we must say Bye Bye to democracy. What they are doing to our democracy they demonstrated at mulungushi when they installed or pyanikered our beloved humble leader.

  21. Frank I feel very sorry for you. If I had to compare Gen. Miyanda to Frank Bwalya in terms of behaviour.
Gen. Miyanda may be considered to be a former priest and Frank as a chief

  22. Mr Bwalya have you seen how much of fire you have triggered from your divisive language. Doesn’t your conscious really appeal to your senses. Your mouth does not know love. You have deceived even the president about what Christianity should be. Woe unto you who calls evil as good and good as evil. You have openly turned your eyes from the law and you shamelessly misleading the little flock. Christian ministry is a ministry of healing and reconciliation. Any way we are not surprised.. Jesus said you are of your father the devil who has been a liar from the beginning. When you speak a lie you actually speaking your native language.

  23. RULING PEOPLE BY FORCE> CHAKOLWA LUNGU WILL NEVER BE MY PRESIDENT BECAUSE HE NEVER WON THE 11th AUGUST ELECTIONS. AS FOR FRANK BWALYA IT IS IN PUBLIC DOMINE THAT HE SPENT SOMETIME AT CHAINAMA HILLS HOSPOTAL MENTAL WING SO DONT TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY.

  24. The International Monetary Fund has ruled out any possibilities of entering into an economic and reform programme with Zambia until after the August 11 elections.

IMF Director of the African Department Antoinette Sayeh told Journalists at the IMF Headquarters in Washington D.C on the sidelines of the Springs Meetings on Friday that the Fund does not see the full preparation of that program until the fourth quarter of 2016 which is after the elections in Zambia.

The Zambian Government has approached the IMF for a bailout believed to be in the region of US$1 billion mainly for balance of payment support.

President Edgar Lungu had hoped that the IMF programme would kick-in as early as April but his team of technocrats at the Ministry of Finance proposed that the tough austerity…
