6 arrested for being found with exam papers which went missing in Chingola

katangaPolice in Chingola have arrested six people for being in possession of Grade 9 English examination question papers that went missing.

The exam papers which were destined for Solwezi went missing on 18th September, 2016, after criminals broke into the vehicle which was ferrying them.

Copperbelt Police Chief Charity Katanga has confirmed the arrest of four Grade Nine pupils and two suppliers of the same question paper.

Ms Katanga said the six were arrested when one of the four Grade 9 pupils attempted to photocopy the question paper.

“We then followed the clues to arrest the other juveniles and the two key suspects. One of the key suspects Phillip Soneka 32, of Mulenda Dairy Farm along Chingola-Solwezi Road was arrested at about 20:00 hours. Soneka lives near the area where the sealed envelopes were found.

“The four juveniles are pupils at Chabanyama and Chiwempala Government schools and one from Sunrise Private School. The Juveniles aged 14, 15 and 16 from Chabanyama and Chiwempala Primary while one aged 1i is from Sunrise Private. All the juveniles are in Grade 9,” she said.

Ms Katanga said Idah Mbulo 19 of 13 Masomo Road in Chiwempala, a school leaver, was the one supplying the English question papers which were equally supplied by Soneka.

Ms Katanga has implored the public to be on the lookout especially those in photocopying business.

    villagers to break into the truck thinking it was carrying marked election ballot papers
    for use as evidence in their court case, kikikikikikikikikiki

  3. well done ZP, please make sure that you arrested all criminals who’s trying to play with government or ECZ, if you fail to deal with them, you are meaning to us that you are in the same group who are have stolen exams paper….
