Power fail to go second on the FAZ Super Division Table

Power Dynamos on Saturday missed a chance to move into second place in the FAZ Super Division after succumbing to a 1-0 away defeat at Green Eagles in Choma.

Striker Adamson Mulawo scored the goal just after two minutes to excite home fans at Independence Stadium.

Third placed Power, who have 52 points, would have dislodged Kitwe rivals Nkana from the second spot had they beaten Eagles.

Power remain two points behind Nkana who sits on 54 points after 28 matches played by both teams.

Meanwhile, the victory pushed Eagles from 14th to 13th place with 31 points.

Elsewhere, struggling Lusaka Dynamos moved one notch up the table after a 1-0 win over Nakambala Leopards away in Mazabuka on Saturday.

Striker Shadrick Mayembe scored a second half goal as Dynamos moved from 16th to 15th position after increasing their tally to 29 points.

Elijah Chikwanda’s “Elite Boys” have displaced Mufulira Wanderers who are now third from the bottom of the table with 28 points.
