Lusaka Times food columnist Kanta Temba to host “Kanta’s Kitchen” on DSTV’s Zambezi Magic

Cake maker and decorator Kanta Temba releases new cooking show, Kanta’s Kitchen.

Lusaka Times food columnist, Chef and Cake business owner, Kanta Temba, hosts a new TV Show called Kanta’s Kitchen. The show is set to premier on Zambezi Magic, DStv Channel 160 on Saturday 4th February 2017 at 09:54am and 21:40pm.

Kanta’s Kitchen is a food lifestyle programme written by Zambian born, Kanta Temba and produced by UK Based film maker and producer, Nathan Codrington. The show sees Kanta demonstrating how to make popular world dishes, and how to put your own spin on them. Kanta offers tasty, quick and easy recipes; and provides ideas for fun dishes to prepare whilst relaxing or entertaining guests.

Join Kanta in her kitchen as she prepares scrumptious dishes in just 5 minutes. In each episode Kanta takes viewers on a culinary world adventure making British classics like beer battered fish and chips, and American Southern fried chicken and coleslaw. Kanta’s Kitchen shows you how to use simple, accessible ingredients to make every meal special.

    • No kidding… my LT sweetheart got a show?? This is what I used to tell ka Tasila Lungu, get to work, not being a counvellor.
      Kanta Kanta, ma dobwizi yekayeka. Ubunga is cheap now that Dora nakula. Kanta show them how to cook umunani, goat meat cooked in milk!!

    • I will be watching. I hope the show will be professional, interesting and inspiring. Zambians should aim high, instead of wallowing in PF mediocrity.

  2. What benefits does this have for the common Zambian who cannot afford dstv and majority who live on less than a pound a day and so can’t afford even basic food under pf.

  3. Wow! Now we get to see you ‘in person’. This, I am very sure, will be a great show, and I will record the whole series because the timings do not work for me..!

    Btw, apart from cooking, I can see from the pics that Kanta you have ‘many talents’…

  4. Cooking with such Brazilian hair …isn’t that a fire hazard. ..anyway good luck to her and also eat healthy in your kitchen as you have gained in that video..don’t get high on your own supply as they say!!
