Hosts Zambia maintain their 100 percent run at Under-20 AFCON after rallying to beat Egypt 3-1 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

The result also sees Zambia unbeaten under Beston ‘Quicksilver’ Chambeshi’s reign with ten-out-of-ten official international matches since his appointment last July.

Egypt stunned the hosts with Karim Hassan putting the Young Pharaohs ahead in the 36th minute.

Zambia now await runner up from Group B in Sunday’s simultaneous kickoff including Senegal and Cameroon at Levy Stadium and South Africa vs Sudan at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

    • What if some of the players will be over 20yrs by the time the match in Korea will be staged. There will need replacement that will affect the performance of the present U20

  3. Yes I do agree that Fashion should not have caused that silly Yellow Card. It was very unnecessary to go in the semi finals with avoidable errors. Its a shame. Its too early to grow big headed. The young lads should be cool headed and the sky will be the limit. Please a word to Fashion. However, big THUMBS

  8. Looks promising. A word of caution to Fashion…you’re a damn good player but keep in mind that the world is watching and so are current and future employers. A positive mental, emotional and physical attitude must be your number one priority. Bola panshi chilumendo.

  9. The articl was written in horrible English. The author should seriously consider using his/her / its native tongue and lingo for writing.
The misuse of cliches and a “copy and paste” writing style seems to be at the centre of the problem.
    1. 100% unbeaten run. 2. Use the term “rally” only when you state what they are rallying from 3. Learn the use of the apostrophe 4. If you didn’t mention the word “goal” how do you use another in the following paragraph. Another what??? 5. So the player put a scissor kick in the net? Really, not the ball but a kick? 6. Quit using English cliche’s like brace and hat-trick, that’s like saying “pomo”.
Please learn that a paragraph expresses a whole thought. You’re using several paragraphs to express on thought. Your English stinks

  11. Boys I am proud of you, you look fit physically and mentally. People will say things that will not even relate to soccer, or the good work you have done so far. Never mind them. A Zambian is a Zambian, weather Bemba, Tonga etc. just unite as a team and achieve your goals. God bless
