The Mpongwe Magistrate court has found former Mpongwe lawmaker Gabriel Namulambe with a case to answer.

This is in a matter which Mr Namulambe is alleged to have assaulted Reagan Maison Njobvu a businessman of shaka investment farms.

When the case came up for trial, the arresting Officer Cosmas Katebe produced a medical report which stated that the complainant sustained a painful forehead and bruises in the chest walls.

In his cross examination, Mr Namulambe, however, argued that the complainant only complained of a sore eye contrary to the medical report issued to the police.

Magistrate Dominic Lesa has since adjourned the matter to 17 March 2017 for Mr Namulambe to commence his defense and organize his witnesses accordingly.

Namulambe, 49 of Mpongwe on January 8, this year is alleged to have assaulted Reagan Maison Njobvu 44 of Shaka Investment Farms in Mpongwe thereby causing him bodily harm following a dispute.

Is that his defense? a sore eye is not assault? This guy will be jailed!

    • Alaa…exactly my thoughts! In other words he inflicted the soreness to the eye but not the forehead and chest walls! This guy must be as dull as HH’s lawyers who could not count from 1 to 14!! Uzadya beans kujele iwe!

  4. so ninshi ka NAMULAMBE KALINA MPHAMVU TO BEAT REAGAN? WHY NOT ASK FOR A RE MATCHCOS. I GUESS REAGAN WAS NOT READY WHEN NAMULAMBE ATTACKED THEY MUST FIGHT ON A FAIR GROUND TIKA KEKESHE

  5. We the people, especially my people in the lamba land must learn to respect those who have done so much for us. How I wish people like Gabriel Namulambe, Mr Leslie Mbula, Dr Puma, Mr Kalala and many more others too numerous to be mentioned can be given a special place in our society because they carry so much amounts of information that we can use them as an oasis of knowledge that can bring development politically and socially.
If I had a way, I would develop a special school of wisdom and knowledge for these people to bring out all we need to hear and know from them, for we will not always have them in our midst.
We love you true Lamba men of Wisdom. It is well.
