Nkana sneak into top 3, Mighty hold Power

Nkana rise into the top 3 for the first time this season to move within two points of leaders Power Dynamos but are beaten to the number two spot by Napsa Stars.

Nkana beat Real Nakonde 3-1 away in Nakonde to collect 15 points from 9 matches.

Simon Bwalya,Walter Bwalya and Diego Apanene were on target for Nkana while Bright Kapoma scored for Nakonde.’

But Napsa are second after a 1-0 away win over Forest Rangers in Ndola.

Austin Banda scored in the 7th minute to see Napsa move within one point of leaders Power Dynamos on 16 and 17 points respectively.

Meanwhile, Power finished 0-0 away at Mighty Mufulira Wanderers.

Unbeaten Power were the better side despite having defender Billy Mutale sent off in the29th minutes for elbowing Mighty striker Rahim Osumanu.

The result saw ailing Mighty also remain unbeaten for a second straight match after they collected their first win of the season on Wednesday when they beat Nkwazi 2-0 away in Lusaka.
