Sex worker nabbed for looting K32, 000 cash from her client in Mpika District

Police in Mpika District in Muchinga province have arrested a 24 -year- old named sex worker of Chitulika Compound after she allegedly stealing K32,000 from her client’s house.

ZANIS reports that Muchinga Province police Commissioner Godwin Phiri confirmed the arrest in an interview today adding that the incident happened on 09 August 2017 between 01:00 and 02:00am in Chief Chikwanda’s area of Mpika.

Mr. Phiri disclosed that a 53 year old man whose names have been withheld later reported that K32,000 was stolen from his house by a sex worker .

After a drinking spree at a night club, the victim decided to take the suspect to his house where the suspect later bolted with K32,000 cash as her client .

Mr. Phiri however said police officers later arrested the sex worker after a tip off . K12,000 was recovered of the stolen money.

The suspect has since been arrested and detained at Mpika police station and will appear in court soon.

  1. How come only 12pin was recovered and who pocketed the 20pin. It points to the arresting officers. Ni ka jackpot. Its not possible for 24year old in an area like Mpika to spend 20pin within a day. The man is careless how can some in his normal frame of mind take a prostitute to his house and how did she know that he had 32pin. In all fairness the man acted in a very foolish way.

    2 Who carries so much money in cash it means it was disposable
    3 Who takes a hule home
    The police should release and give the hule a medal

    • Mpika Boys ..those are consequences of retiring and you settle(build a house ) in Chitulika. You want to sugar-coat it that you settle in Chitulika compound or Chitulika maplot…. Its Chitulika village !!!!!!!
