Nkana and Red Arrows await the final verdict of Saturdays’ abandoned match at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Mbombo headed in Gift Zulu’s cross in stoppage time that Arrows players allege was converted from an offside position.

The two sides were locked at 2-2 prior to that after Mbombo put Nkana ahead in the 23rd minute and Fred Tshimenga added the second six minutes later.

Arrows striker Joseph Phiri scored a brace in the 32nd and 72nd minutes.

Meanwhile, Nkana drop from third to fourth after that incident on 26 points while Arrows are 13th with 15 points.

Nkwazi take up third position previously occupied by Nkana following a 3-1 away win over promoted National Assembly in Lusaka.

Patrick Musonda, Kepson Kamanga,Christopher Zulu were on target in the 1st, 25th and 40th minutes for Nkwazi while Assembly benefitted from a Jubell Sakala own -goal in the 33rd minute.

Nkwazi have 27 points, four behind leaders Zesco United who play on Sunday.

  1. When I ready abandoned game…i was what has Nkana Fans done now? Lol its Arrows players! Am sure Nkana Fans were outplayed here

  2. Amongst the least educated sportsmen are footballers and boxers, at least boxers don’t abandon any match because doing so gives the opponent a win. Coaches must include the disciplinary code as part of training, they shouldn’t just concentrate on skill and fitness. It’ll save us a lot of embarrassment. Anyway it’s 3 points to Kalampa

  3. as long as Nkana has in its executive sick womanisers this club will never attain its full potential. Nkana must rid itself of old sick aids ravaged uneducated ancient fools in its executive then we will see a club that’s destined for real glory.
