Vice President Inonge Wina has arrived in Luapula Province to inspect various developmental projects taking place in region.

The plane carrying Mrs. Wina touched down at Mansa Airport at about 16:20 hours to a thunderous welcome.

The Vice President later addressed PF members and Mansa residents who went to welcome her.

Mrs. Wina expressed happiness at the warm reception that she got at the airport.

She warned PF structures against allowing infiltration from frustrated individuals who formed political parties.

She urged party members to remain strong and loyal to President Edgar Lungu as Luapula was the PF’s stronghold.

Mrs. Wina later proceeded to commission two hostels at Musonda Secondary Technical School which have been named after her.

She thanked school authorities for the gesture and urged school girls not to succumb to early marriages.

The Vice President is being accompanied to Luapula Province by Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister Ronald Chitotela, General Education Minister David Mabumba, Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection Minister Dennis Wanchinga, Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa, Mwansabombwe MP Rodgers Mwewa, Bangweulu MP Anthony Kasandwe, Chifunabuli MP Mecha Ponde and Nchelenge MP Anthony Malama.
