Mighty’s lead dwindles to five points

Mighty Mufulira Wanderers’ lead in FAZ Division One Zone Two has been cut to five points after their goalless draw at Kansanshi Dynamos in Solwezi at the weekend.

Wanderers were leading with a six point gap prior to the weekend’s week 26 matches.

With four matches left in the 2018 campaign, the Shinde outfits have 59 points, five above second placed Indeni.

Indeni moved to 54 points following a 3-0 win over Kalulushi Modern Stars at home in Ndola.

The win moved Indeni from third to second position as they displaced Chambishi.

Chambishi have 53 points from 26 matches played.

In Zone One, Circuit City are leading with an 11 point gap following a 1-0 win over Petauke United away in Eastern Province.

City have 62 points while second placed Zesco Mailati Rangers sits on 51 points.

Barclays Cup finalists Young Buffaloes are third in Zone One with 47 points after playing 25 matches.

In Zone Three, Prison Leopards are leading on goal difference after accumulating 60 points from 26 matches.

Manchester A.Z Academy are topping Zone Four with a one point margin and have one un-played match.

Meanwhile, seven walkover wins were recorded across all the four zones in Division One.
