Here is a selected wrap of how our regular Chipolopolo call-ups faired at their respective foreign leagues over the weekend.

SOUTH AFRICA
=Orlando Pirates: Striker Justin Shonga and midfielder Augustine Mulenga on Saturday toasted their second successive Soweto derby victory since joining Pirates in August 2017 and January 2018 respectively.

Second placed Pirates beat number seven side Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in a match Shonga came off in the 59th minute after his 26th minute penalty miss while Mulenga provided one assist and walked away with the man of the match award.

=Mamelodi Sundowns: Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was on the bench on Saturday for unbeaten sixth placed Mamelodi Sundowns in their 1-0 away win in over 13th positioned Chippa United.

=SuperSport United: Striker Gampani Lungu played the full 90 minutes but was not on target for fifth placed SuperSport in Sunday’s 1-1 home draw against ninth placed Golden Arrows.

=Polokwane City: Midfielder Salulani Phiri played the full 90 minutes for fourth placed Polokwane City in Saturday’s 1-0 home victory over third from bottom Maritzburg United.

FRANCE
Defender Stopilla Sunzu on Friday played the full 90 minutes for Ligue 2 pacesetters Metz who finished with ten men in their 0-0 away draw at fifth placed Lorient.

BELGIUM
Striker Fashion Sakala and midfielder Emmanuel Banda played the full 90 minutes for ninth placed KV Oostende in Saturday’s 0-0 away draw at second from bottom Lokeren.

AUSTRIA
=Altach: Striker Brian Mwila started but was not on target for 11th placed Altach in Saturday’s 1-1 away draw at ninth positioned Mattersburg before he was substituted in the 59th minute.

=Salzburg: Midfielder Enoch Mwepu was an unused substitute in defending champions and leaders RB Salzburg’s 3-3 away draw against second placed LASK Linz on Sunday.
Striker Patson Daka was not selected for the match.
