  1. Just why would a mother leave a 10 month old baby and go out on a drinking spree? Is that really a mother? Some of these deaths we just bring them upon ourselves. The mother is no more and the father is going to jail leaving the children in destitution. That’s why it is always emphasized that: “drink responsibly”

    • “Why would a mother leave a 10 month old baby and go out on a drinking spree? The same way a father with a 10 month old baby went on a drinking spree! Are you implying she deserved to die because her husband took her to the bar? I am not a mother and I don’t drink, but I have seen how exhausted and helpless most mothers become. You are here condemning women drinking but you don’t look at the root cause. Most of them are depressed because they dared married sorry a$$ed men who expect them to have a full time job, come home and prepare meals, wash clothes, prepare the mans bath as he checks out nude girls online, keep the house clean in addition to taking care of 4 kids under 4 years and wadding off girlfriends!
      MHSRIP.

    • But at least she should have thought about her baby. She did not have to compete with her hubby out there on a drinking spree at the expense of that innocent and little soul!

    • I am yet to see anything good that comes out of drinking a lot of alcohol.

A lot of families have been destroyed by alcohol.

We have seen that alcohol also affects our leaders in running our country.

We have seen road accidents on Thabo Mbeki road that may be due to alcohol consumption.

      Drink sensibly people.

      Vote wisely people.

    • What will happen to the children? Will they be adopted by the murdered mother’s relatives? I don’t think so especially if there are boys who might physically resemble their cursed father so then that means it’s the fathers relatives to take care of the children but how well will they do it? Chances the uncles are also drunkards like their father puting the well being of the children at risk. Lessons to be learnt from this:1) do not have children with partners who are unstable 2) do not marry drunkards 3) beer/ alcohol is the number one cause of domestic violence in Zambia

  2. These were just irresponsible parents who should not have been going on a drinking spree. It is a pity that we still experience these kind of issues which can be avoided. Now there is a huge problem, mother is dead father facing murder charges which we all know the verdict. What happens to those poor children and who really takes care of them as we have no institutions or a system to take care of such children who lose their parents. Such a shameful thing!

  3. It takes 2 to make a baby , so don’t shift the blame onto the mother. Both are equally to blame for getting drunk when they should have been enjoying quality time with their children. It’s too backward to think that the husband had the right to get pissed to a point of murdering the mother of his children.

  4. @1.1 for a man it’s normal to go and drink while you have a small baby.mothers are the key of the house how can she leave 10 months baby and out?who was there for the baby when she cry ?

  5. SINCE HH started pushing for NATIONAL DIALOGUE when their is NO CRISIS in the country THUS WHY HE IS FUELING SUCH ISSUES TO JUSTIFY DIALOGUE. PLEASE NO DIALOGUE UNTIL WE VOTE IN 2021 (That is if HH wll win then we need to dialogue immediatly after casting the VOTE should he loose NO DIALOGUE)

  6. Where were the onlookers who couldn’t take the step to separate the couple? Maybe they thought the husband had the absolute right to discipline the wife. Uluse to motherless children!

  7. Ba lipota nabo ati: the incident that happened over the weekend around 22:00 hours. The weekend has Friday and Saturday so this event happened on both days?
