Chief Mpidi of the Lunda speaking people of Zambezi District of North Western Province has pledged to support President Edgar Lungu now and beyond 2021.

He said President Lungu is a humble man and has shown humility to the people of Zambezi through his leadership of hard work, stating that he is the leader of all Zambians.

The Traditional leader disclosed that despite his subject not voting for him in the 2016 general election, the President still showed love to the people of Zambezi through massive development which the district has seen since he assumed office.

He said this when District Commissioner Charlton Samahanda paid a courtesy call on him at his palace today.

He said President Lungu’s leadership style is unmatched by any past Presidents, adding that 2021 general elections will be easy for him as he has delivered for the Zambian people.

“I am grateful to the PF government and its leadership more especially for constructing five rural health posts in my chiefdom and this has never happened before not even in the time of Kunda,” The Traditional leader said.

He has since urged his subjects to rally behind President Lungu coming 2021 general elections, adding that the PF government under his leadership means well for the people of Zambezi and the country at large.

“Let us all work together and support his Excellency President Lungu if development is to continue in our district,” said Chief Mpidi.

Meanwhile, Zambezi District Commissioner Charlton Samahanda has assured Chief Mpidi of continued government support saying the Pf government is an inclusive one.

“President Lungu is working tirelessly to develop the country the only thing he needs is your support as Traditional leaders as you are part and parcel in developing this national,” He said.

  1. Such cheaply constructed structures are a means to steal govt funds. They won’t even last long and they have no medicines anyway.
This is a PF means to attract votes from gullible uneducated peasants.

  2. How these match boxes are kept cool during hot months to ensure that medicines kept there do not deteriorate with heat, I don’t know. Let’s wait and see their staying power. Can they withstand even a minor storm? We’re an inland country far away from the sea. Most storms reach us in a weakened state so we escape the damage that Mozambique sees sometimes. These structures are cheap prefabs that no country that has had engineering and built environment schools should build without fan fare.

  3. Just look at that photo …those are basic prefab (easy assembly) Indian clinics everything comes from India flat packed everything from doors to windows to equipment only the bricks and the cement for the foundation is bought in Zambia. Who benefits from such an arrangement? Indian Manufacturing industry. They are still building them deliberately slowing down so they finish next year so dullards like this Lunda Chief thing its Lazy Lungu working not knowing its an EXIM Bank loan funded by Indian govt which Lazy Lungu will not even repay.
    Wake up from your docility!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just look at that photo …those are basic prefab (easy assembly) Indian clinics everything comes from India flat packed everything from doors to windows to equipment only the bricks and the cement for the foundation is bought in Zambia. Who benefits from such an arrangement? Indian Manufacturing industry. They are still building them all 600 of them deliberately slowing down so they finish next year so dullards like this Lunda Chief think its Lazy Lungu working not knowing its an EXIM Bank loan funded by Indian govt which Lazy Lungu will not even repay.
    Wake up from your folly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Nemwine – This is win win for Indian manufacturing …why are we Africans so short-sighted. There is no value addition here to our Industries.

  6. Tarino all talk but no action. Why don’t you stand and contest the presidency if you are still Zambian? Since to you everyone in government has no clue what they are doing so why don’t you show us by torming your own party, selling your ideas and winning in landslides? Is it easier to be an armchair critic? Hahaha. Your anger won’t win you an election. Insulting us zambians just because you are abroad and think are better than us won’t win your upnd an election. You look down upon zambians but what is funny is that the same whltes there in diaspora see you as faeces.

  7. Celebrating mediocrity as usual these Lunda chiefs. Let them go to northern and luapula that’s when they will know those structures are shacks.
