Nkana Lose Again, Zanaco Reclaim Top Spot

Nkana fell for the second successive league game after losing 2-0 at home to Kabwe Warriors.

The defeat comes in the wake of Saturdays 3-0 Kitwe derby loss at the same venue to Power Dynamos.

Princes Mumba gave Warriors a 1-0 lead with a 13th minute striker before Clement Mundia wrapped up the day in the 75th.

Meanwhile, Nkana this Saturday visit Zanaco in their last league game before heading to Egypt on Sunday for next Wednesdays CAF Confederation Cup Group D date against Pyramids.

Zanaco warmed up for Nkana on with a 2-0 Lusaka derby victory away to Nkwazi.

Boyd Musonda scored in the 1st minute and Abraham Siankombo scored the second in the 61st minute to send Zanaco back to number one from second to exchange places with Zesco United on 36 and 34 points respectively.

But Zesco will reclaim top spot on Thursday when they host Lumwana Radiants in Ndola.
