Chairperson for the National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation, Robert Sihubwa, has urged Zambians to unite and attend the National Day of Prayer which will be held in all the districts of the country this Saturday.
Father Sihubwa says the tenth anniversary of the National Day of Prayer is an opportunity to harvest what the country has been praying for in the past nine years.
He said President Hakainde Hichilema will be the Guest of Honour at the commemoration of the National Day of Prayer.
He was speaking in a special interview on ZANIS Television today.
Fr. Sihubwa stated that the church and government are partnering in national development.
He added that citizens must remain strong and united in diversity especially as the country heads toward election period.
Meanwhile, Fr. Sihubwa has encouraged citizens to participate in the 2026 General Elections as a way of exercising their right.
This year’s National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation is themed “One nation under God, consolidating and harvesting national development and spiritual resilience.”
