KALUMBILA — Police in Kalumbila District have apprehended 259 suspects in connection with the mob killing of Eneless Hellen Kamutumbe.
North-Western Province Police Commanding Officer Brighton Siwale confirmed the arrests, stating that 96 of the suspects are female while 163 are male.
Siwale said police are preparing multiple charges against the suspects, including murder, assault on police officers, malicious damage to property and riotous behaviour.
The arrests follow the violent incident that occurred last Friday, which led to the death of Kamutumbe.
Police say investigations are ongoing as authorities process the large number of suspects linked to the case

Where on earth have you hears of 260 suspects for one murder?. It just means police can’t investigate. Investigations by qualified cops will normally narrow down the suspects to a reasonable number. Clearly these police officers don’t know what they are doing.
