IK Charitable Trust donates medical equipment to Chilenje Level 1 Hospital

IK Charitable Trust has donated assorted medical equipment and supplies to Chilenje level 1 hospital, aimed at improving patient care and supporting the recovery of vulnerable patients.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, IK Charitable Administrative Officer Mohammed Mansuri says the donation reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to promoting access to quality healthcare and upholding human dignity among communities.

Mr Mansuri notes that the donated items include a 10-litre oxygen concentrator, 24 pulse oximeters to enhance vital monitoring and critical care services at the facility, five wheelchairs and 50 sets of bedsheets and hygiene supplies.

He also highlighted that to further support patient recovery, 120 food hampers containing nutritional good staff were also handed over to assist patients in regaining strength during treatment.

Mr Mansuri has since commended healthcare workers at the hospital for their dedication and tireless efforts in delivering medical services to the community.

And, receiving the donated items, Lusaka District Health Director Astridah Maseka expressed gratitude for the gesture, stating that the items will significantly contribute to improving service delivery and patient welfare.

The IK Charitable Trust reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting health institutions across the country in order to enhance the quality of care for all citizens.
