The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) management has maintained that it has no money for salary increments of its workers.
ZNBC Director General Joseph Salasini charged that the corporation has equally been affected by the global economic recession, which he said has resulted in inadequate financial resources for salary increments.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Salasini explained that the corporation is currently having financial difficulties which has made it difficult for the management to review this years salary collective agreements for workers.
He added that the corporation’s commercial sales have also reduced due to the economic crunch that have affected many companies doing business with ZNBC.
Mr. Salasini disclosed that the board and management of the corporation last week had a meeting with union leaders aimed at finding common solutions to the problem were such issuers were addressed.
He noted that the management is saddened with the decision taken by workers to stage a sit in protest compelling them to go contrary to the outcome of the meeting that they had last week.
The Director General further urged the workers to resume work adding that the work stoppage was affecting the smooth running of the corporation.
Mr. Salasini pointed out that there was no need for workers to continue with their protest as they work for the public institution mandated to serve the interests of the general public.
Today ZNBC unionized workers staged a sit in protest to press management to award them salary increment of about K700,000 across the board.
The workers have also called for the dissolution of the ZNBC management and board for alleged failure to run the corporation efficiently.
The workers, who locked their offices and stormed the office of the Director General, chanted slogans and displayed placards denouncing ZNBC management and the board members.
They accused the board and management of having gone against the collective agreement which states that workers salaries should be reviewed annually.
Zambia Union of Broadcasters and Information Disseminators (ZUBID) president, Simon Mwila said workers decided to down tools after management maintained that it will not increase workers’ salaries this year.
Mr. Mwila said the increment was inevitable because workers had been affected badly with the effects of the global economic meltdown.
Later in the day, the union held a meeting with the Minister of Information, Ronnie Shikapwasha in an attempt to resolve the problem.

Ati bwa?
Give the workers what is due to them and they will contribute effectively. Shani akaso ba ZNBC? is it credit crunch issue nakaili futi?
Mrs stevens ati how?
We only have money to give to Zimbabwe at the moment, please ZNBC bear with us.
Bwanji ba Thenjiwe?
This excuse sounds familiar to me. Hasn’t your boss spoken to you like this lately?
If there’s no money what can Shikapwasha do for the workers? This is ZNBC broadcasting from Ronnie Shikapwasha’s office….
We have no money for our peaple, but have money to give zimbabwe, what a shame ba RB’S Gov’t
Please exercise patience once we have helped Zimbabwe which is facing an urgent economic crisis we will then look at your matter. Please workers be patient.
#3, exactly! this is what I was talking about misplacing priorities. Hi Ba Digital fimofimo, you have changed a lot and you look HOT here. lol. dont take me wrong.. Mr. Stevens will kill me Shhh ssshhh..lol more…
Prepare for hard times ahead.
#Ba Nine Chale, umutende, ine nili gwa! Iam still laughing at my self at what I said in #8, but lets be honest na Ba chinja sana ba ndume….

# 4 , luckily I have never heard that from my boss.. note ..luckily.. pantu kuno balepela na ma pay package/stimulus ba govt… imagine to send people to go shopping so that shops should not close down mulandu wa credit crunch..
Hello TS (Mrs) , I feel sad for a Zambian worker very dedicated to work yet paid peanuts , I would agree with some comments that money meant to bail out Bob and his people can instead be given to ZNBC…How ironical
Zikomo Mrs Stevens, kaili manje ni digital, nizeeee! ka pena banga kupaseko ka award ba LT…..lol
Credit crunch is a British-steered attempt to impose the dictatorship of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the entire planet, wiping out all hope of economic recovery, the modernization of the developing countries, and national sovereignty at the same time.
Under this plan, the IMF would dictate the economic policies of all states. The IMF orthodoxy is austerity, sacrifice, deregulation, privatization, union busting, wage reductions, free trade, the race to the bottom, and prohibitions on advanced technologies. These policies would strangle humanity.
in all fairness in these times very few people are getting salary increment (except for GRZ) so workers should be happy they are in employment and take this matter up when times are better, otherwise some will lose jobs for others to get the increment, which means more work for the higher pay…lets see how many will agree.
furthermore ZNBC has its own management and resources to paid to workers , and is not in connection with the zimbabwe money.
THE ZIMBABWE MONEY WE WILL GET FROM THE MONEY WE HAVE BORROWED FROM THE WORLD BANK AT AN INTEREST RATE OF 99% SO, YOU SEE PEOPLE THERE REALLY IS NO MONEY BUT ITS THERE. reporting live from mass media complex
I would very much love hear to solutions from the fanatics of opposition parties to this situation ? should there be a slight increase ” on when you pay it will show fee” from 3000 kw to say 5000kw /month to help ZNBC?
#17 last i watched, it never showed on znbc even after we paid, even muvi tv is a better watch than znbc they can even close it down and only employees and GRZ will be affected, coz then who no mouthpiece for govt.
#14, Mwanisekesa maningi. Manje yamene iyi L.T award how much is it worth?? Award ya pa cyber chabe?? try hard.. this gravator is better than the one you tilted your head with and where you drinking something??? I remember that one.. recently anso.. this one you really are stunning Hot ..jelous down… lol more…
#18 True as it is that the quality of ZNBC is poor compared to MUVI , but if it were to be closed the rural population stand to lose out very much,as MUVI has limited coverage and a lot of them can not afford the monthly pay TV stations…….
Contd from 20,
ZNBC is not TV station alone , it has also radio stations in different local languages mostly serving the rural population ……
There is no money. So the economic crunch is still on. Awe abantu bachula mwe.
I have always told people here that i have been ashamed of being Zambian becoz of RB as president..Honestly giving while u cannot afford is not giving..How do u give your neighbour food when yo children don’t have it?I feel its not fair and its not helping at all.Sort you own mess and then help your Zim.
#23 ashamed of being Zambian? That tells alot about you. Stay in Canada where they laugh behind your back for feeling inferior.
As far as I know ZNBC is a profit making organisation. let the workers be given pay rise. inflation has rise about 10% in the recent past
ITS OK, THEIR NEWS IS BORING. THEIR PRESENTATIONS ARE CHEAP
This story couldn’t come at the right time for Fr Bwalya. What a coincedence! May be they will report effectively on the lay off of the only person who speaks for the down trodden in Zambia.
Mrs Thenjiwe Stephens, that is not digital fimo fimo’s picture. It is a man called the RZA. He is an American Rapper/Producer; back when music was still music. Bapasenikoni ndalama ba ZNBC employees. If you can raise that amount for football $400. Thousand plus a little can be spared for the Government broadcasting machine’s suppressed workers. I still pray for Zambia.
#24 if u proud to be Zambian being led by RB good for u….I love to death but i just can’t your relative to be president of Zambia that’s what am ashamed of!!!Well if they laugh at me in Canada they just do that to you too in America and to tell u it doesn’t bother me coz am black and beautiful.
#24 if u proud to be Zambian being led by RB good for u….I love Zambia to death but i just can’t your relative to be president of Zambia that’s what am ashamed of!!!Well if they laugh at me in Canada they just do that to you too in America and to tell u it doesn’t bother me coz am black and beautiful.
OMG!!!
Where do the TV licenses go. Cut down on covering Rupiah and Shikapwasha then provide attractive programming. You can do this even as a govt. media organisation, put on soccer games, real current affairs (not MMD news), etc…
Well I cannot argue with the fact that ZNBC is facing some financial trouble due to this global recession. In connection to the Zimbabwe bail-out fund, what people must realize is that bailing out Zimbabwe is also an investment to Zambia. If Zimbabwe gets back on its feet, it will mean an increase in cross boarder trade. An increase in cross boarder trade will mean an increase in the revenue of the nation as well as increased foreign exchange.
It will also mean livingstone will be a strategic city in the cross boarder trade between Zambia and Zimbabwe. You cannot talk about trade deals with a country that cannot afford to buy the products you are selling. The benefit Zimbabwe will get from the fund will be a benefit to Zambia. [tbc
cont.]
Plus this will be a one time expense.
Now coming to ZNBC, this is a company that is supposed to be self sufficient. Meaning it is supposed to survive without govt help. ZNBC has even gone as far as receiving subsidies in the name of TV licenses just to make it profitable since ad revenue was not making this company profitable.
My question is to those who are calling for this company to increase the salaries, how much are you willing to increase the T.V licenses to finance this pay increase?. Should govt increase the licenses from K3,000 to K5,000?? That is all up to you to answer.
And you want to give money to Zimbabwe whose workers are even being paid in dollars. RB and Mulongoti must have your heads examined by a psychiatrist honestly. Feed your own people before you champion other people’s problems.
#33 you re right, pipo are just arguing for the sake of doing so, more over we dont even know how much zambia will contributing to zim….off cause not so much, even if this little money were to be give to znbc how much increment will be give to all staff? Bearing in mind that this increment is not just for one month but for the next one year, where will the money be coming from to be paying staff every month? So zim contribution is not an issue talk of something else……
Why should ZNBC be self sufficient? It is a govt organ and does what govt tells it. It is like asking Zambia Army or Zambia Police to be self sufficient. It will never happen as long as govt is in control. They should just fulfill the agreement. How come they paid themselves (Ministers) millions that was not even called for?
# 37 thats a very poor example, thats the problem when we your friends are still in 2009 you ve already reached 2020….Zambia Amy does not do adverts and commercials,Zambia amy does not charge the public in order for them to deliver a service neither does zambia police,so i wonder why you are comparing znbc to zambia amy and zp ?
lekeni ukulaka bane we’re all Zambians and we’re economic refuges here.Anyway agama two pin tulipila for better TV yaya kwiki?
Let the a-holes starve! May be they will learn their lesson that it does not pay to keep telling lies on behalf of a corrupt government that thinks of no one but themselves. That is your reward for peddling lies! You along with the rural idi*ts to whom you broadcast your government lies and end up voting the same liars back into office in the mistaken belief that they will look after your interests. Of course they have no money to pay you; the money has all been spent on paying participants in the pointless “Indaba”, the NCC, and bribing witnesses for the Siliya tribunal! You voted for them, you just have to grin and bear it! I am beginning to enjoy this, you have no idea!!!
Wake up Salasini! Companies have stopped doing business with you because of the crappy quality of both programming and biased coverage. It’s not the global economic crunch which after all you and your paymasters declared wouldn’t affect Zambia!! Go on living in your dream world. Next it will be nurses and doctors, then civil servants, and then food riots! I feel sorry for you since neither shikapwasha nor mulongoti can come to your rescue. Banda is busy bailing out Zimbabweans instead of his own people. What a president!!
These are the results of poor management. Even before the world econimic crisis started, there were some warnings that it would happen hence every organisation had all the time to prepare themselves. There should never be an excuse to increase salaries, what I’m saying is if ZNBC management has failed to manage, let them go and give room to others.
Ba ross # 38, tamwakwata motoka? When police give tickets what do you call that? Why is ZNBC in the budget and allocated funds every year just like Zambia Army and Zambia Police? Is ZNBC private entity or govt owned? Ala mulebelenga. Failing to know how ZNBC operates seems to indicate some level of ignorance. Kwati uli grade 4. Pantu even those kids in grade 7 know that ZNBC is govt owned and draws funds from govt. Awe naumfwa ubulanda.
Iyi “Credit Crunch” yala shupa pantu naba fitumbuwa naba lunda imitengo saying that kama wire they use to pick the fritters have become expensive to produce due fo falling metal prices on the global market. Anyway let ZNBC improve its programmes coz in my view, the really dont deserve it.
No money and yet there money for helping Zimbabwe, shame
But pa Zed, why do these so called leaders commit the country to what they fully know we can not afford. Remember the All Africa Games? They knew we had no money in the kitty yet they stood tall the and promised the whole world that we can host the games, how only their bird-sized brains knew. Now its Zim, our roof is still burning and we think we can donate? Only the other day RB was on BBC declaring western province a disaster area due to floods and was busy appealing for help from donors and now we say we give Mugabe and his cronies money for destroying their once envied economy? Bull S#*T!! Lets be serious for once pa Zed, this is not on damn it,,,,,,,,
ZNBC workers mainly depend on GRZ monthly grants. Thats why they are abig mouthpiece for RBB through Shikapwasha and the like. No increment for them. We are waiting inet to approve giving out money which has been borrowed at great interest. Why starve your own children and help your neighbour’s children? WE ARE A BIG SHAME IN ZAMBIA
They cannot raise money through adverts due to propaganda’Let them be neutral and money will just pour in.
Government mouthpiece workers now feeling it.
what i don’t understand is how ZNBC gets government assistance!!! tv license!! alot of revenue from advertising them being the biggest media house in zambia!! but always claim to be broke???????
if there was no money in brodcasting we would not have seen the mushrooming of so many private stations!! and anso private stations have better programing n better standards!! something aint right!!!!!!!!!!!!! nga bafilwa!! PRIVATISE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
#33Free market
I don’t know why u want Zambia to bail out Zimbabwe.People have given reasons not to bailout Mugabe but it seems you’ve roots from Zimbabwe.
When i read your comments, I’m feeling very bad such that if i were near you i could slap you.
We told you already that we can just give Zimbabwe a loan if Mugabe steps down. How could you support such a criminal to be given money who just destroyed his country? He even said i don’t need help from westerners Zimbabwe will not suffer.Do you really know democracy and rule of law brother?Come on you’re not helping our country if you’re a Zambian. But I have feelings that you’ve roots there.
Where do our TV fees go? Buying new cars? lelo mwalachimona….invest in programing and it will show. Gone are the days when we were rushing home to watch ZNBC, to watch current world class TV shows from comedies, actions, thrillers, horrors and even educative documentaries…now its Rupiah this, Rupiah that,…MMD this, MMD that…awe mwe, twanaka naimwe, nichifye DSTV nayo naidula sana, awemwe but pa Zed napo, kuti walila…..
Oh Znbc, we dont have enough money to give you now..please understand the situation Zimbabwe is going through and explain it back home as to why your children cant have what they need for school…..Ba Free Market…still standing on your opinion..Hmmm
how much is parrafine getting oh! salasine! am just trying to do my if X=15,000,000, Y=?.
Morning people….
Yeah!!!! Privatise Zamtel,ZNBC,ZESCO and all Zambian Companies starting with Z since you chaps are failures. Maybe you can only manage Political parties. Privatise the rivers, lakes, roads and land since money is now difficult to issue. Workers maybe its time adopt the “WORK AS YOU EARN” syndrome. I have seen in our hospitals. DISCLAIMER- Hey this is a bad advice. Please be careful
ola…How much many do these people get, before they advocate for an increament?
Peanuts. just peanuts. The economy is biting real bad.
obviously the MMD do not pay up for the adverts and thats why ZNBC has no money to pay for increments. it doesnt generate its own money and depends on RBs govt to oil it. mulelapila lelo with your biased reporting
#57 sorry i meant money
#56 bigbro from the sky, they should also privatise air (oxygen)……..LOL
It is a great relief to realise that I don’t anything to do with this. Why? Because I know I will continue struggling and suffering in the same state and probably deteriorate further, should the little that is there be given to the neighbours across. For a long time now, I have been having hope that I might have my salary increased, even by a minuscule percentage , so that I can also buy a bag of mealie-meal like my next door neighbour, but it looks like I will continue with ka-pamela. My child is in grade 8 and is still using his grade 6 shoes and underwear because I could not afford new ones this year! My wife cannot afford a decent hair dressing, so she asks her younger sister to do her hair instead because going to the salon would affect the amount of cooking oil to buy for the month!
Assuming that 150,000 households pay K3000 TV licenses per month, it means that ZNBC rakes in a cool K450,000,000. This is over and above what the corporation earns from adverts and other commercial activities they are engaged in. This is by far more than what other companies in manufacturing and other services make. The problem is that the big boys are making a killing out of it. Joseph Salasini himself has built a super mansion in the Mass Media area while junior boys rent “maboba” in Kalingalinga.
Sounds good privatise privatise privatise! thats nthe only way to get going 😀
#61 Sounds good privatise privatise privatise! thats nthe only way to get going Zedians will then learn not to take the God given resources for granted 😀 Lol!!!!!!
What I am trying to say is that, no matter how hard I try to work, I will always remain at the same level because the grz does appreciate my efforts!! The grz has its mind set at making a lousy name about helping Zimbabwe… so what if Zimbabwe is assisted? What about us? Like hell, we have been serving this government longer that it has taken Mugabe to destroy his country’s economy!! And the govt can do is redirect our money to a dictator!! What a shame!! No wonder citizens elsewhere rise against the govt…..
I thought ZNBC was a government mouth piece. So the government is refusing to kiss the mouth that speaks for it…strange
#66 are you support Madagascar’s position? Has the ballot really failed pa Zed?
Here we go when you pay it will show but from the look of things I dont know when that day will come Muvi TV is by far the best but its just a baby born a few years ago cant be matched. N’way thats what happens when brains are tired Tamulati RB and Shikapwasha should know better what to do they are the beneficiary of ZNBC boring Programs.
# 43 2020, The police will only give you a ticket when you abrogate the law,but if you maintain law and order i see no reason why the police should give you a ticket! Off cause znbc gets grants from the government but on top of that they make more money by themselves more than the police do on tickets, znbc is a commercail entity,is the police a commercial entity also? All in all, znbc is a parastetal, now my learned bro,is zambia amy and zp parastetals? So bakamba! despite znbc getting money from the govt it still cannot be compared to civil servants in the Amy and Zp
Zambia is playing in the traps of the IMF and the world bank. The ultimate aims of these evil planners is to destroy Zambia and their policies working on us.After getting the loan from IMF the following catch-words were introduced.[tbc]
1.belt tightening to be done
2.economical reforms
3.pain to be endured
4.light at the end of the tunnel
5.level playing field
6.restructuring
7.layoffs

11.structural readjustment

#71 Thats the point. Dziko ni lanu. Dollar is theirs. In short your resources are theirs Loi 🙂
If anyone is a child of God, they have no business being afraid of the so called crunch…. the darker the night, the brighter the ligh shines
Miss Daisy, how are you managing the credit crunch? Surely, prayer alone wont do.
“The workers have been affected by the credit crunch” How ? Can someone explain to me how the workers at znbc have been affected by the credit crunch? The corporation yes -the workers l dont understand how. They are still in employment and are not business men who rely on credit from the banks nor are they suppliers to the mines who are not getting any orders anymore.Let them find another reason for demanding an increment.
The credit crunch tsunami is already in motion and heading straight at the Zambia. The water is being sucked away into the growing credit crunch tsunami wave. Most people will just watch the strange phenomena till it is too late to head for safety. Some will recognize what is coming and head for safety.
1984. Where is it safe? Even in the West, people are losing jobs en mass.
Hello Fellow bloggers. The way forward for ZNBC is to be turnend into a public broadcaster and run by competent independet board as opposed to the current scenario where its a state media and managed by cadres who have no authority atall and survive at the mercy of MIBS.They should learn from Btv,SABC etc
Monalissa mwana, the lord opens doors, i personally havent felt the pinch because God blesses everything i do and everywhere i go..Tuma projects just throw themselves in my face and i find myself doing alot of PJs….You work hard and trust God who has promised to prepare a table before thy enemies……IT WORKS!
Sisala – Zesco, Muyunda- Zamtel, Selasini -ZNBC. Guys these chaps are stinking rich, they are really reaping from worker’s sweat. Is it them to say “No increament?” the answer is hey no and yes. No in the sense that that the Govt imposes a silent wage freeze on workers in its Fiscal and monetary policies to curb the so called inflation nonsense and Yes in the sense that chaps know how much workers make and may be in the position to give an increament. But if the Govt is interested in the same money, it would rather get it. sometimes the economies of the companies may not be allowing. It depends on what govt and these MDs want to achieve. The solution lies in the worker’s mind. its time to wake up and wake up. 😉
#78 Yes the U.S.A private sector axes 742,000 jobs in March2009.First know your God and do Everything and anything you might need to know about survival.
nice people. viva!!!! intended donation to zimbabwe!!!!abash!!!!! znbc increaments absh!!!!
In this case ZNBC has no money for salary increments of its workers but it has money for something else.Say to help Govt contribute to Zimbabwe’s Economic turmoils caused by its leaders. The news twisters and misinformers (ZNBC) are really in trouble. Sorry Guys, Yours in solidality.
ViVa Chelsea.Drogba,Lampard, Essien,Kalu,Malouda,Anelka,John Terry,Ashly Cole, and Ballack these are men. We are unstopable. We are going all the way to the finals of Euefa Champions league. Viva the blues, Man united will be shown the door by FC porto.
In Zed, we are having all these problems because all politicians are Job seekers. If they don’t stay in politics, then their families starve to death. What I am saying is that as long as Zambians don’t learn the art of changing governments, politicians in Power will be almost comfortable of winning the next elections with the view of using the incumbents resources, or by virtue of being in power, abusing public funds and resources during elections. We are too scared of change. In Europe or other African countries, a government with the performance of MMD can not be let to rule for 18 yrs.
Workup ZNBC, workup. I know my fellow intellectuals will say that don’t change for the sake of changing, but it is the same contentment that we have developed in ourselves and the politicians that’s making them not look beyond politics in their lives and serve the masses when put into power.
Zambians, lets create a good rotation of governments, then we will get these people working instead of always strategising on how they will win the next election by letting Banda stand for 2011(So that he can use his privileges and abuse resources), for the simple reason that they keep their jobs. (Mulongoti, Shikapwashya etc). Workup ZNBC, workup.
please people LT is a MMD cadre.mulolekesheni bwino.
just look at were he collects stories, only (TM,DAILY M,MMD).
Political hegemony is really killing Zambia.
Chewe the Virgin..Great game that was…..i must say Liverfour also did a great job……Blue for life
Miss Daisy am so happy i love chelsea so much. Mulishani lero? You look nice we!! Yesterday miss Daisy you were the blogger of the day.
Miss Daisy you are a morden woman we.With a morden looking. Not umukashana ale moneka kwati mukote because of uku kana iposako amano.Imwe awe sure muli baka shana!!
Chewe the Virgin…Oh, wow. Welcome to the family then..am the only blue in a family ..the rest are all ManUre supporters..lol. Natotela..u cant really see me though can u?..And how was i the blogger of the day mailo boss?
Freshman, we are not scarred of change. What is retarding our development are poverty and selfishness of the mind. In the US for example, it is ok for government to change hands. Here, the corruption discovered and fine-tuned by one Frederick Titus Mpundu Chiluba makes this change impossible. What gives the MMD a carte blanche to think that they are destined to rule this country forever after UNIP? From 1991, Zambians have identified at least three people to steer the country forward. The first was Titus himself. The second was Anderson Mazoka( and who said Zambians are tribal?). I must hasten here to say that we should all be proud of our tribes, like Meastro. Mazoka was dribbled. Then Zambians identified Michael Sata, who has continued to be dribbled. Are you with me?
Missy Daisy isnt that your picture? If it is then that what i mean.yesterday you were blogging almost the whole day!! You almost joined ba award winner.Ta ba lumbulwa ka.Ba Huhuhuhu.

Balinseka..ine ichifukushi, i almost went to bed!
Miss Daisy i felt very bad when Liverpool was scoring. But i knew that we will equalise because of late we have developed a fighting spirit. Miss Daisy can i apply?
while we appreciate the work they are doing at ZNBC,and that they get peanuts, lets also consider the PJs (Private Jobs) they do as well, using company time ,get me right am not against one being enterprising along side their job,but am against doing that at the expense of the corporation time. You see with all these grievances thats why i retired before i reached 30 years old.my fellow Zambians lets start thinking of making it on our own completely and not moonlighting that way you we will not complain about mearge salaries etc.atleast we will sweat for our money and pay ourselves.I also put a challenge to all you bloggers who are pursuing further studies abroad not to think of employment upon completing your studies, but think of setting up a company of your own and make it on your own.
Applying for what, iwe Chewe. This is why I dIdn’t want to disclose my gender to you. Ulunkonena.
Tchwang, your advise is timely. I continue to learn from all you bloggers with your contributions. I don’t feel like I am wasting time here at all.
pazedi napo, kaya
I do appreciate that there is a global recession, but his is also a chance for the Fat Cats to use this opportunity to get more for themselves and leave the rest without no increase.
Big vimimbas are the ones celebrating.

People, have you seen the AutoRec advert on top of the Lusaka Times, ati FULLY MAINTANANCED CARS….Ba Kasonde, do something about it please.
Charity begins at home. A well managed company can not sink during these turmoil times but like most state companies, in Zambia, are run by men and women who are intoxicated with power rather than desire to win and achieve. Enough said the increment they are seeking is too much.
I am surprised that there is another observer (#7) who is using my name. Anyway, thank for your participation in blogging and not necessarily views you present under my account. All the best, but be careful because I know (IT and Online) tricks! You plunge yourself in trouble. You can not hide under someone’s name no matter how you hack in! you can be identified! That is no threat but how technology has advanced.
The Capitalist reasons better on Zimbabwe. Remember, successes of the imposed sunctions will act as derterency to any African country that might be opposed to neo colonial policies of the most evil western countries. Zimbabwe issue is all about land and not the bad governance as propagandised by the unelected Gordon ‘Pinky’ and George ‘Jungle’, former US president elected through rigging.
Now about ZNBC. First of all, why should they be paid anything? this time almost everyone is enjoying th SABC where we witness real political coverage and fell how we wish it was the same as ours. If SABC officials were to come for TV licence here, I wouldn’t hersitate to pay because I enjoy their programmes not daily ZNBC interview programmes that covers over 40% of their programes + 52% childish…
THIS IS RIDICULOUS, WHAT KIND OF A GOVERNMENTS IS THIS? K700,000 IS NOT A LOT OF MONEY TO ASK. PLZ ZAMBIAN GOV, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I DO SUPPORT THE STRIKE BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN’T BE LEAVING ON PEANUTS WHILE YOU ARE GETTING FAT SALARIES.
