Zambia have started to assemble in Ndola ahead of Sunday’s 2017 Africa Cup Group E dead rubber against Kenya with two foreign-based players joining camp today.
Striker’s Winston Kalengo if AC Leopards in Congo-Brazzaville and Lewis Macha of Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa are the first to join camp.
This is Macha’s first time back in the fold since Zambia’s friendly away to Saudi Arabia in December, 2012 that Chipolopolo lost 2-1.
The team will kickoff training on Monday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium where they will host Kenya on September 4.

Defenders: Emmanuel Mbola (Hapoel Ra’anana, Israel), Fackson Kapumbu, Ziyo Tembo (both Zanaco), Buchiyza Mfune, Adrian Chama (both Green Buffaloes), Kondwani Mtonga Simon Silwimba (both Zesco United), Stopilla Sunzu (Lille, France)
Midfielders: Paul Katema (Red Arrows), Roderick Kabwe (Zanaco), Rainford Kalaba, Nathan Sinkala (both TP Mazembe, DR Congo), Felix Katongo (Green Buffaloes), Cletus Chama(Zesco United), Lubambo Musonda (Gandzasar, Armenia)

We truly have a Leadership crises be it in soccer or politics.
I find George Lweandamina’s selection highly suspicious. This team doesn’t have a single player from Power Dynamos and Nkana, but has six players from the coache’s club ZESCO! Is Lwandamina suggesting that players like Kelvin Kampamba or Sate Sate cannot add value to the national team? This is the problem with local coaches. Let’s get an expatriate coach before it’s too late.
I will be very disappointed if Zambia loses to Kenya. Following Kenyans history its clear these Masai cant play football. FFailure to beat Kenya will be a bad indicaiton we ae missing the Africa cup once again.
