Children awarded scholarships thanks to generous back-to-school promotion

Three lucky children have received scholarships from Super Maheu producer Heinrich’s Syndicate as part of the popular drink’s back-to-school promotion.
The campaign took place during the August and September holidays in eight stores – Cheers Hypermarket in Kabwata and Kalingalinga; Choppies in Chilenje, Crossroads and Kanyama, and Melissa in Matero, Northmead and Kabulonga.
Parents were given the opportunity to buy a six-pack of Maheu and enter a draw to be in with the chance of winning school fees for a year up to the value of K10,000. Instant prizes were also available which included items for school such as backpacks.
The winners were: Precious Mwambazi of Shekina Learning Centre, Veronica Banda of Smart Start Kindergarten, and Mutabazi Pangras of Giftech Education Centre.
Panji Banda, general manager of Super Maheu, said: “Super Maheu is a nutritious and tasty drink which is highly popular among our children and that’s why we introduced the back-to-school promotion. This is also our way of investing in the future of our nation – by investing in the nutrition of our most valuable resource, our children.”
Super Maheu is the original Zambian Maheu brand, and is set to roll out further exciting promotional campaigns in the coming year, he added.
