Puma Energy Zambia has contributed $25,000 towards the hosting of the 2017 Zambia Open Golf Tournament in Kitwe.
The Mopani/Redpath Zambia Open takes place from 28 May to 4 June at Nkana Golf Club.
Puma Zambia General Manager Yahaya Yunusa handed over the cheque to the organising committee at a ceremony held at Nkana Golf Club on Wednesday.
Yunusa said Puma Zambia was happy to support the hosting of the prestigious golf championship.
“Puma Energy Zambia is today making a donation of $25,000 to the Zambia Open Organising committee,” he said.
Organising committee chairman Emmanuel Mutati thanked Puma for the donation.
