Honey – we need more

honey Ubuchi Capital Enterprise has called on Zambians to effectively consume honey in their daily menu because of its immune boosting qualities and medicinal properties.

Ubuchi Capital Enterprise Sales and Marketing Manager, Brian Mayondi told ZANIS at the Zambia International Trade Fair Stand today that honey was good for people’s health.

Mr. Mayondi said apart from boosting the body’s immune system, honey could also be used to heal wounds and burns.

He said it was also useful in treating coughs, sore throats and ulcers.

He said some women were also using it for their hair and skin because it has also proved useful in those areas.

He added that honey could also be used as an antibacterial and fungal agent.

Mr. Mayondi added that it was important for every household to have honey as their home companion because it added value to life in general.

  6. He should contact Wholefoods Market and maybe they can invest in his venture and start exporting to the USA. There is one brand of Zambian honey currently on the shelves in the Wholefoods market stores across the USA. Very good honey and always reminds of Zambia and the so many untapped areas.
