Saileti hails Lumwana win over leaders Green Buffaloes

Coach Zeddy Saileti has hailed his side Lumwana Radiants for thumping leaders Green Buffaloes 3-1 in Saturday’s Super Division match at home in Lumwana.

Prior to this Week 29 game, Lumwana had slain Zesco United 3-0 in their last encounter at Levy Mwanawawasa Stadium played on September 19.

In a post-match interview, Saileti said Lumwana worked hard to overcome Buffaloes.

“I salute the boys for the win. The boys played well. Coming from winning a big game in Ndola the boys were motivated,” he said.

“They worked hard to beat Buffaloes. They knew playing Buffaloes was going to be tough. We created a lot of chances and I think we were on top of things,” Saileti said.

Lumwana are eighth on the table with 45 points , eight points behind Buffaloes, after 29 matches played.

Lumwana have 12 wins, nine draws and eight loses.
