Power Lift Barclays Cup

Power Dynamos collected their first cup win since 2003 today when they lifted this year’s Barclays Cup.

Power beat Green Buffaloes 2-1 in the final played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Fordson Kabole’s side took the lead in the 23rd minute through a goal scored by Lameck Mwale.

Buffaloes’ striker Brian Chilando equalized four minutes later.

The game was sealed seven minutes before the break through midfielder Simon Bwalya.
Power take home K125 million while Buffaloes collected a K50 million cheque.

  2. Poor reporting by LT. No Buffaloes player scored a goal. It was an own goal, mistake by the Power goalkeeper when his defender made a back pass. Report properly and the truth please. This item should have carried more lines than what you have given us. Who was coach of the tournament, who was player of the match? Such information is not covered. Improve please.
