Senior Chief Bright Nalubamba of the ILA people in Southern Province has described as unfortunate calls by the Mwanachingwala Royal Family Establishment for current chief Mwanachingwala to step down.
Speaking in an interview with the Zambia News and Information Services in Lusaka today, Chief Nalubamba said, although he has just learnt the development in the press, it was regrettable that Chief Mwanachingwala has been accused of dragging the name of the Chiefdom into disrepute and shame.
He said he will soon meet Chief Mwanachingwala to get first hand information on what really transpired for the Mwanachingwala Royal Family Establishment to ask him to immediate step-down from the throne.
Chief Mwanachingwala of the Tonga speaking people in Mazabuka District of Southern Province, is accused of crowning himself as chief Mwanachingwala, a thing which has annoyed some family members thereby calling for him to step down.
Efforts to get a comment from Chief Mwanachingwala failed by press time.

He is not a chief, he shud step down and continue as a cadre. The facts are there that he was appointed as a caretaker or advisor to the real king who is still under age. Now that he has brought the chiefdom into disrepute, the owners of loyalty have rights and rightfully did demand his step down. Failure to adhere will result into chaos..and the MMD and Milambo will have themselves to blame
Just to look at development news, the Daily Mail reported “[Outgoing US Ambassado to Zambia] Mr Booth, who has been in Zambia for 17 months, said the country should promote value addition investment… said the country should attract investment with mutual benefit to Zambians and investors… however, said Zambians should assess whether only foreign investment can develop the country.”
This is progressive data that we should be able to discuss as opposed to the useless insults we read from our newspapers almost every day.
Coming to Mr Charles Malambo, now known to have made himself Chief, this is was he has pbtained for attacking would-be Incoming Zambian President HH and the mighty UPND Team.

#5 On which party’s ticket is HH going to become Presido? The way I read things the UP aNd Down (UPND) has been sold to the king cobra! HH has no chance of standing on the pact. Otherwise, the pact will split and the two parties will stand seperately and that will give RB an advantage.
