World Soccer governing Body- FIFA has warned that the Football Association of Zambia FAZ April 30 Annual General Meeting should not fail to take place again.
FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke says should the 30th April AGM fail, the case will immediately be referred to the FIFA Emergency Committee for appropriate sanctions.
This is according to a letter addressed to FAZ President Kalusha Bwalya and obtained by ZNBC Sport in Lusaka on Monday.
Valcke hopes FAZ will overcome the present difficulties and fully focus on the development of football in the country.
Meanwhile, the Andrew Kamanga led FAZ Executive on Monday said ignoring its existence by the Kalusha Bwalya led committee would only undermine all efforts aimed at resolving the crisis at Football House.
The Interim Committee has observed that the attitude by the Kalusha Bwalya led executive to ignore its existence will only work against the spirit of unity and harmony in the game of football.
This is according to a statement released by Interim Committee Press and Liaison Officer Lwanga Mwilu in Lusaka on Monday.
Mwilu said the interim committee finds it unfortunate for FAZ Vice President Boniface Mwamelo’s sentiments expressing that the Interim Committee does not exist.
ZNBC
Oh shut up already Andrew!
The reason you will never become a football president is because you have never lived the game of football, and your views of football are as useful as Simataa Simataa on a football pitch.
Leave it alone already, man! Gees! Can’t you take a hint?
Ba Kamanga twanaka naimwe. Lekeni Ba Kalu bapwishe term elyo naimwe muka cite campain. Lyonse nimwe pa mwela mwaba………….
Zambia needs to banned for atleast 5 years. A lot of money is spent on this sport but nothing sensible ever comes comes out. Its high time we focus on other sports discplines like ichiyenga, draft, pool, etc.
abena kamanga, its very clear you are not wanted anywhere near zambian football.please call it quit.
I do not like the way Kalu is running fotball in this country but i do no longer support kamanga faction either for now. let Faz finish their term and stand for elections next year period. its less than a year and you guys should be gong to your AGM. Whats the rush anyway…..??
pls educate me, how did this faction come about? wht is it?
kaya kaya kaya nkhani yabola nayo ife talema manje. I dont care who is wrong or right, my advise to Kamanga is let kalu finish his term, and we will vote you in as the next FAZ president. Period. Simata has being tried as FAZ Chairman he lamentably failed. Lets move forward …..We dont want a FIFA ban piliz …..
The only way forward is FIFA to ban Zambia we are tired of all this nonsence there are more important things to read about in the papers than this, can political party Presidents insult each other please the papers are no longer interesting. Cadres go out there and fight since this the order of the day and to my normal Zambian voter please use your vote wisely this year otherwise you will suffer again for the next five years!
Are the Kamanga led group’s intensions really genuine? I find it strange that even the government has allowed our meagre resources to be wasted, all because of a faction that I feel lacks moral principles.
However much you want to demonize the Kamanga faction, they still remain a very big and important factor in the ensuing football administration impasse. The best and wize thing Kalu should do iz to live above board; engage the Kamanga group in meaningful dialogue for the love of the game. We can surprize even FIFA by amicably rezolving this whole issue by ourselvez.
Meanwhile, the Andrew Kamanga led FAZ Executive on Monday said ignoring its existence by the Kalusha Bwalya led committee would only undermine all efforts aimed at resolving the crisis at Football House.
offcourse we dont recognise you.Things are now not working out for you and you want to negogiate. We will meet on 30th April period.
The best thing is for both parties to test their popularity the the AGM. Whoever wins can finish off the term quietly. After all, Zambian football is nothing to write home about.
Am tired of this Chi Kamanga and Ch Simataa.Cant you chaps read between the lines that people dont want you?You failed to have enough members at Mulungushi so you want to start dialogu.Lets meet in Kabwe if you are men enough.
Let FIFA n Zambia and then we shall see who will want to lead FAZ! There is too much money in FAZ, as soon as that tap is closed by way of a ban no one will want to be near FAZ leadership and true football administrators will come forward to drive our football.watch this space
In as much as we appreciate that Kalu was elected for a term of office up to next year. His generals put him in this dilemma as they jettisoned the ship declaring his team illegal. So lets be seen to be respecting both side of the management committees if progress is to be made. Its this level of arrogance that Kalu and his team are exhibiting that has brought us where we in the first place, the chap thinks he is answerable to FIFA forgetting who voted him into office. Its not Blatter or Valcke that put him in office its the same delegates that voted for the Kamanga Committee. So exhibiting arrogance is not in any soccer loving Zambians interest. So Kalu and his chola boys should swallow there pride instead of trying to show unnecessary stubbornness, its too let for that.
What interim committe is in place when you have an elected team members. Yes, Great Kalu may have done something wrong but the way we would like to topple him is unprofessional. If we do it the right way FIFA will have respect for us otherwise we will end up being banned. Please, Simataa and Katanga what are the issues here???????????
These boyr are really dull!!! Honestly u guys even people that supported u have seen that u are the real problem in Zambian soccer crisis!! 30 th April is very near why do u keep talking. People are wondering -is it for the sake of recognition(my god). You have missed alot of chances of been properly recognised by soccer lovers when u boycotted the ECM and kitwe AGM, although i agree about your security concerns, people on the c/belt don’t like spoiled brats like u, those two meetings u boycotted have finished u and people think u are taking them for a ride.Go to the police if money has been stolen OR SHUT UUUP.PLEEEASE!!!
Please can someone educate me on Kamanga and Simaata, who elected them in FAZ executive. They have brought problems in Zambian football.
#18, If you do not know how Kamanga came into FAZ then you know nothing about footbal in Zambia and my advise to you in just shut the f**k up. Awe sure, bu Gbagbo muno chalo bwafulisha saana. These sentiments are truly like Mugabe and Gbagbo, losing an election and refusing to recognise the outcome and winner. I think its not just ammo dumps that need rocketing with Tomahawk missiles, some Zambians too need missiles exploding on their s.t.u.pid gurumuthus to pump sense into them.
Someone to enlighten me please. Who is this Andrew Kamanga?? What are his personal, national and international acheivements?? Please who is this ***** compared to great Kalu. Kalu is our future CAF presido. As for mbo Simata. He is very good at talking. But action………………….palibe!! Please let Kalu’s executive complete it’s mandate in peace. Simata was once tried as chairman and failed lamentably.
Mbo Simaata, webe lyobe!!
I am tired of this issue. Can we please talk of something else??
#22. You are right my man.
I am one of those who criticised Kalu, and genuinely so. But the way the Kamanga/Simataa faction operates changed my stance, now I support Kalu to manage FAZ affairs. Why are the faction fellows so impatient and making so much noise? NSCZ is also at fault for tending to entertain these guys. People say there is money in FAZ, perhaps that is why hopefuls can’t wait any longer!
Go ahead Mr FIFA. We have a lot of issues to attend to. We wont miss you for the next 10 years. This will give us time to reorg and rebuild.
#24 your Kalu is a probrlem only a f.o.o.l.I.s.h person can not see this the boy thinks he oqwn football in Zambia he just has to be kicked out
The answer is RB wants to control everything, now he wants his children to rule FAZ, that is the reason why FIFA is on the side of Kalu. Go little Kalu go…..Vs RB, not KAMAMGA ans Simata, these two are just pawns of RB because they are power hungry…..
kalusha is just as mad as RB , you cannot fool God a man reaps what he sows even in darkness.God ‘s time is the best, he is now making it open that he has rejected RB because of his stance with chiluba.
God is not man that he can lie we have prayed and God is putting in place a man to deliver us from this bondage. For sure the writing is on the wall it only that God will even blind you from the truth like pharaooh
To be associated with Simata you can not achieve anything, Kamanga lekeni Kalu alone imwe mwalikapa
eyes on the ball….. Viva great kalu…..Abash s h i t master….Abash chi no direction kamanga…!!!
Now i know the stubboness in kalusha it does not mean if at one time you were a player the u own football no let him drop his pride and step down we the zeds av had enough of the nonsense plse step down and let the game grow u finished my friend zambian football is not yours but for every one.finito bwana kalu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is the problem with us zambians when something is wrong it should be considered wrong so that in future it doesn’t repeat itself.if some body is a thief we shouldn’t say awe atolelefye no.chiluba stole bcoz it was public funds and no one was feeling the lose you aquit him.kalusha is busy making scadals of selling players illegaly ,miss use of funds maltchoice deals, players salaries manupilation, miss managemnt of cash from govemnt etc and you start saying no leave him,the character is bad and doing some that we shall regret for football that is y he doesn’t to piecefully want to leave dispite not follow the cnstitution .He has sold enoch players let him go.
Amazing how the majority of you so called fans have totally missed the point here…we all, just maybe, at one time loved and worshipped great Kalu! He was a great player-if he was English, GOD HELP US, if you know what i mean\:d/
However, the issue is that his rule at FAZ has let down Zambian football by going against the led down constitution (concerning legality of FAZ after resignations etc), secondly-refusing to adhere to members asking for a meeting-again according to the constitution which when it came about was clear that he and his committee were not wanted! Kalu was interested in the Egypian job and he got it, in style i must add-more like a lovely free kick!People when you go against the constitution, problems come about big time..PERIOD. EXAMPLES-MMD, ZIMBABWE, NORTH…
NORTH AFRICA…Do the right thing Kalu, organise the meeting-call for a vote…be the man, take the free kick and put this agrument to bed! BE THE MAN BA GREAT KALU.
The crisis at FaZ are now beyond personal issues. It does matter whether someone had scored a free kick or not to brush aside criticism to hold on to power at Footbal house.FAZ should swallow their pride and face the vote period.
#32, if u were in court to substantiate yo allegations, u wd urinate in yo pants and there will be no saliva in yo mouth to smoothen yo talk if any. u will start sweating and stinking even to yo surprise.
Dont talk anyhow, thoz who resigned hav never raised such an issue. all u hav said u jst read it in tabloids some of which are not even trustworthy.
If u are a man, owez say wat u can substantiate esp wen u are bloging on internet.
Thoz who resigned hav not heped maters here and most councilors were made to believe alot of lies by simata and kamanga. As long as FIFA says there is only one FAZ in ZED and the faction is not recognised, Kalu will owez toil fifa lines. period.
Kalu swalow your pride and listen to the other group.if you cant give them chance to listen to them how are going to tell whether there is sense in wat they are saying or not.Dont just cling to power like that listen from other pipos advices as well. Its like you cant listen to anybody including nscz. But the goverment hasbeen spending alot of money on the team.If you want to cling to power start using your own resources to sponsor the team after all Kanu/George/drogbathey have done alot to develop there countries.Wat development have yu brot here other than dancing to koffi wen ever he comes to zambia
I agree with #36. The way this guy (#32) posts allegations, its like he is the FAZ accountant. Well I have news for you, he is not, and he should also SHUT UP!
In fact, the best thing to do is put #32, Andrew and Simataa on a boat with enough gas to switch off in the middle of lake bangweuru in northern province – and maybe they can have their AGM there!
I think FIFA has read into what is happening at Football House and now know that the main problem is your so called great Kalu and his faithful followers. The man is selfish and greedy and has mislead a lot of you. As the saying goes, you can know a man by the kind of people that he hangs out with. He is just using FAZ to further his selfish ambitions and it is sad to say that he has mislead a lot of you. He is on the CAF committee and yet we still do not know how that is going to benefit us. Shame on him and his followers.
What executive? Which executive ba kamanga? What is the kamanga led executive? No such things. Just lumpens.
Its like this. A guy walks into your home and claims that your wife is also his and insists that you should not ignore him but recognise him as a fellow husband. Kamanga and co. please be serious.
#41 The best:
I do not agree with your reasoning because F.A.Z is a national institute and everybody has a constitutional right to know what is going on. That is why the leaders are elected and if they do not perform as expected then we have a constitutional right to question them. Even in families if you fail to agree then you can call other people to come in and mediate. F.A.Z is not a one man show just like a marriage involves bringing two families together. You are the people that are inflating the egos of the current F.A.Z executive.
People that know that they do not have the necessary experience and qualifications to carry out a task have been known to resort to intimidation to have their way. To put it simply, Kalu does not have the necessary experience and he is hiding this by being arrogant. I think he would do well as an ambassador for Zambian Football and not as F.A.Z President.
In case you have not read what the was in the post about this issue, below is an extract:
>FIFA has praised President Rupiah Banda for exercising restraint and advised FAZ to regularly >communicate with the authorities to avoid misunderstandings.
>Valcke said President Bandas decision was welcome.
