Chief Mwanachigwala of the Tonga people in Mazabuka has refuted media reports suggesting that the people in Mazabuka district have rejected the mobile hospitals.
Chief Mwanachigwala urged the Post Newspaper against setting an agenda for the Zambian people.
He charged that it was evident that the Post was campaigning for opposition Patriotic Front (PF) leader Michael Sata.
“The official commissioning of the mobile hospitals for Southern Province is on and it is not true that we the people of Southern Province have rejected the facilities. it is common knowledge that the Post Newsaper is openly campaigning for PF leader, Mr. Sata,” he said.
Chief Mwanachingwala invited those who were peddling lies about mobile hospitals to witness the launch for themselves when President Banda will be commissioning the facilities.
In a separate interview with ZANIS, the Chief said that Mr. Banda had done a lot since assuming office in 2008 because saying his works were bearing fruit.
He said that both the Post Newspaper and the PF leader would not manage to de-camapaign President Banda because he enjoyed massive support from the Zambian people including recognition from the international community who have spoken highly of him as an individual and Zambia’s economic path respectively.
The traditional leader castigated critics of Mr Banda and his administration for peddling lies on straight forward issues concerning the country’s development.
“People who criticise President Banda are wrong and they only have got a different motive. President Banda has embraced everyone including his critics but l’m happy that he has ignored them and he is on track to developing this nation,” he said.
And President Rupiah Banda is tomorrow expected to be in Mazabuka, Southern Province where he is scheduled to commission mobile hospitals.
The launch of the mobile hospitals comes barely after two weeks when President Banda commissioned similar facilities in Chongwe district in Lusaka Province.
While in the district, Mr. Banda who is expected to arrive in the morning will among other things have a meeting with Zambia Sugar management, before meeting chiefs. The President will later have lunch with traditional leaders.
This is according to a tentative programme issued by the Mazabuka District Administration and made available to ZANIS in Mazabuka today.
At 15-00 hours, President Banda is also expected to hold a public rally at Hospital Football Ground.
On hand to receive the Head of state would be Southern Province Minister Elijah Muchima, Mazabuka, District Commissioner Tyson Hamaamba, senior Government officials and Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) party officials from both the district and the entire province.
President Banda returns to Lusaka soon after scheduled business.

We are a vibrant democracy where such unethical tabloids enjoy the freedom of choice availed to all Zambians. But the fact is that whoever is supported by this gays centric tabloid never carries the day. The story is same with Panji Kaunda

TONGAS WE ARE DONCHI KUBEBA CHIEF BE CARE FOOOOOOOL.
IWE KA DONCHI KUBEBA STOP INSULTING TONGAS OR ELSE YOU WILL DISAPPEAR.
Decision 2011 is about sustaining exponential economic growth, opportunities for all, national unity in diversity, stability and moral virtues against utopia, clanism, hegemony, satanism, Betran Aristidism vainly shoved by some pro-gays pharisees.
SENIOR CITIZEN,
If you are gay or have had gay tendencies, do not make all of to believe that being Gay is an issue in Zambia. The issue is closed and burried. Sata has explained his posotion and his interview as we all have read it was miscontrued by people like you. The POST writes the truth and TRUTH is alwasy painful. The issue we have in Zambia is poverty, corruption, development, education and change of government. For 20 years, MMD has failed us. Let PF come in and clean the mess
SENIOR CITIZEN is gay and wants to promote HOMOSEXUALITY by writing about it all the time he comments on an article
Uno mwaka ni nafuti nafuti.
gays and lesbian are mouth peace for sata, we all know.f.u.ck u fred and freinds.
Southern Province chiefs will be in brown envelops tomorrow. So Rupiah is going to talk about SATA the Great tomorrow. His campaign gimmick on the copperbelt is just in futility because that’s our woods.Having lost grip on lozis,Rupiah is going to southern but it will not be easy for him because that’s HH’s fish pond. But ba Post bamusoka mambala lelo, yaaabaaa! The paper that digs deeper.
Zambians at home, Rupiah is so desperate, get his money, houses and other gifts BUT ni DONT KUBEBA come come 2011.
But ba Post bamusoka mambala eeehh. iliko bad, don’t provoke The Paper That Digs Deeper.
Will he talk about them again? aah nishi samvela.
The liberation struggle is on and Zambians will definetely be rescued from the paws of the Monster this year.
Vote Pabwato and SATA come 2011.
Sata has been eating money from Gays in Holland, Denmark & Sweden. He is a cursed man
Some chiefs are a shame to the fabric of modern societies. There is need to show tolerance and respect to other citizens. Chief Mwanachingwala what does he say about the ZNBC, MTV, Times Of Zambia and Daily Mail? These are well known campaign tools for MMD. The chief has lost is plot. we need to pray for him. He is raging war against his own subjects. His people are aware of his blind support. The real battle is how is HH going to be used as VP. for MMD/UPND. The forego of VP by the MMD is a clear testimony of the plan B that has been on going despite UPND being in pact with PF. The peoples’ pact is more favourable than a pact with another political party. Character assassination of PF and its leadership by UPND is a clear indication of the roaming pact MMD/UPND. People awake to lies of…
So iwe donchi kubeba ulya fye, upema fye tribalism. U call who ever does not say anything positive about ur ka PF a tribalist.Iwe fyonse umona fye umutundu. I dont know who thinks by tribe and not his brain.
The Post Newspaper has objectively indentified with the most progressive political party PF. It is the party to form govt by the end of this year. That has to be respected.
Conversely, LT, Times, Daily, ZNBC, Muvi etc have made MMD as their choice.
This is just in keeping with our multi party democratic dispensation.
The only issue here is that Times, Daily & ZNBC are publicly owned and they are supposed to cover everyone regardless of their political affiliation, but they don’t. Chief Mwanachingwala can choose MMD if he so wishes, that is his democratic right.
It is embarrassing for the whole Chief to be turned in to a cadre. The progressive mind of Chibamba Kanyama said we need to network with other people here in Southern Province.
What can happen if PF wins, what will the Chief say? because all pubic media will sing a chorus “Long Live King Sata More Money in Our pockets and zero in Chief Mwanachingwala’s pocket” and he will need coverage from the Post because that will be the only paper possibly closer to him.
Watch out Chief be quiet do not be used as a Vuvuzela, because you can find yourself practicing ‘SEBANA WIKUTE’. Go tell your subjects to be hard working and have a free will to elect leaders of their choice based on merit, weather Sata or Milupi that should be non of your business.
The GAY Fred M’membe and his Gay paper has been campaigning for Pro-gay activist Sata even in the previous elections but Zambian are too wise, they have never listened to the post and Sata. Sata will never be president.
that is just petty jelous we know are upnd and mmd fabricating this
Mwanachingwala vs Nalubamba.Wina azalila 2011
Senior Citizen is gay! Yes he is!
Sad for the POST, even villagers are beggining to know their agenda. Mmembe may have to just pay back the $30 mil he extortioned from govt………
Bear with these chaps who are attacking The Post because the brats are fearing for their jobs. They know that they will be jobless when Vasco da Bwezani loses this year. So the thought of going back to Zambia from diaspora pains them alot. So they end up talking about the gay issue which SATA clarified and is burried. Your appointing finger is going I.d. i ..o .t..s and so are you.
Mwanachingwala is a cadre who is paying for the diplomatic passport to Rupiah.
VOTE SATA AND PF IN 2011. DONTCH KUBEBA.
At least Sata is being campaigned for by the The Post only. RB is being campaigned for by ZNBC, Times of Zambia, Daily Mail, ZANIS etc. So what is this fool talking about. Why can’t he start talking about govt contolled media first. VIVA SATA.
Ba Sata stands no chance this year, those supporting him must be honest enough to advise him. The Post is not kind , by creating false hope, they’re doing harm to him.
Zambians will vote for a sober President and a sober Party. As things stand now, which one is the sober Party? and who is the sober President ?…If you are able to answer this honestly, then you will know who will win the coming elections…..
We do not want thugs who stick their pricks in another man’s a*ss to rule over us.Mmembe and his bedfellow sata’s lifestyle is lower than animals. Not even a Dog practises what they do.Ati ”I was born this way”,you are headed for hell fire you sub-humans.
“While in the district, Mr. Banda who is expected to arrive in the morning will among other things have a meeting with Zambia Sugar management, before meeting chiefs. The President will later have lunch with traditional leaders.” Viva RB man of the people, true nationalist, custodian of Zambia’s cultural heritage.
Osati madobadoba anu mu Poor Fellows party where you do not value traditional leaders. Plz PF Kaponyas, wait and see. Your Poor Fellows has no chance this year, maybe 2016.
I thought the Chief had a personal right to point out something soooooo evident? In a democracy, this is expected and we are also entitled to comment in favour or against, but to say the chief will be sidelined when Sata wins is intolerance which I believe we should fight against.
…Hahaaaahaaaa…..HOMO habilis or HOMO sapiens ?
The past news paper and sata are losers. We know they are advocates of gayism and lesbianism which is a satanic act. This explains his serpent model placed in his office as a satanic symbol. This symbol of a cobra(serpent) represents: pain, bitterness, deceit and distraction. I urge the zambian pipo to be weary of the serpent spirit. viva UPND, viva HH
The Daily Mail and Times of Zambia have learned to do what the Post Newspaper has been doing for years.
The Daily Mail and Times of Zambia are GRZ owned papers, it is understandable that their sole purpose is to advance Government of the day’s policies. If Sata won today, these two papers remain the Government’s mouth piece. The private media therefore, should not be driven by hate, or personal interests, rather, they should stand on a level ground for the sake of the down troden and the weak. They should be a mouth piece of truth, and the disadvantaged, and the Post has clearly departed from the norm of fairness and integrity.
Papers can write and people say all they want to, one fact remains … ZAMBIA, A CHRISTIAN NATION. Therefore, with our voters cards, I and my household choose to join in the song: ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS MARCHING AS TO WAR!!
Some “chiefs” are slowly becoming irrelevant as “traditional rulers”. They get so excited with cheap politics just like we saw when they were crawling on their loin skins for FTJ’s third term in exchange for brown envelopes. Now that they have been given vehicles it is worse. I admire the dignity of the Litunga when it comes to making “political” statements.
Newspapers in Zambia are all so biased. I find myself reading less and less news from the Zambian papers these days. Their stories are so predictable that it is really becoming childish. Same tiny circle of newmakers of known opinions quoted everyday with stories of the same theme. At times I wonder if these papers are really written by adults.
so iwe chimwanachigwala do u hav a problem wit dat.de post campaigin 4 one micheal(mighty pf).u chief wit no moralz.u only think of ur ka pocket.whether u lyk it o nt mmd kuya bebele
The private media should never at any time, advance personal and tribal interests of its editors or owners. It should also decist from devisive behaviour, double starndards and general intolerance nor should it support one group of people against the other. The private media is supposed to be the backbone of any democratic country. Does the post fit this shoe?
For as long as the ‘Presidence’ is the strongest institution in Zambia, our problems will never go away. Dear Zambians, we need to realise that irrespective of who goes to Plot one, their number one pre-occupation automatically becomes self preservation. We need to have a constitution that safeguards the ordinary citizen from the greedy, powerful polititians. It will not matter so much as to who becomes the head of state if the government machinery runs smoothly…after all, the tecnocrats do the work from the back-ground.
Its sad that the paper we once trusted to stand for the truth, the paper we thought could not be control by individuals pockets has now become a mouth piece of PF,PF has it in its pocket where ever it goes.No wonder its all comes back, we are humans everyone has a price.Psalms 20v7 says somwe trust in chariots, but we shall remeber our Lord.I had alot of trust in this newspaper, infact am happy i dont read it now,its a pain in the neck than oil to my wound.
Mwanchingwala, you must be suffering from diarrhea of the mouth. You are no longer a chief, but a cadre and your real names are CHARLES MALAMBO.
donchi kubeba# what are you doing in Tanzania? Am inviting you to join us in UPND unlike PF a tribal part. In your part too much Gays and homos, all of you are useless, brainless and headless creatures. VIVA HH mwana mubotu. No smiling anyhow only with strategic issues.
It is just few months remaining, you will hear the Kaponyas lamenting “Nabatwibila ama voti” while deep down their hearts knows the truth. Even now, these Kaponyas are worried because even where they enjoyed massive support due to Chiluba’s support are failing to pull through. Councillor Musiska is in trouble for something that he does not understand. Guy Scot of Chongwe is throwing a towel as he knows that he has no support. It is FIRE, FIRE, Amen! as the devil this year is shamed once again.
I used to watch a soap from Mexico,am sure many know it. The storm, this ka soap had alot of twisting episodes such that it leaves you either, thirsty for more,or angry or happy. In short it had generated mixed feelings. This i should say is manipulation of the mind by movie directors.Imagine one being manipulated, but still goes back to watch. This is the emptiness in man, that always thirsts for something to fill in.This vacuum is also there in politics.we hail from different prov, each one wanting his tribesman, now editorial staff know how powerful our minds work, they feed our minds with ideas, day and night so that at some point ouir our mind might give up all its defences and accept the junk. One thing the media forgets is its not just politics they are playing with, but mental tribal wars
the post and pf will have it har this year..mwapya..you are gay and busy insulting credible people..hehehehe..GBM..women abusre..Sata ..gay and insultant..what degree does he have ayi..?
#32 Mambala1, You are so right iwe mambala!
sata is wining am in western province right now pipo hav r going wild everywhere u hit its mwamukolo.donchi kubeba 4 sure.change is cumin.
BREAKING NEWS: Senior Chief Bright Nalubamba admitted in a Mobile Hospital
Mutinta, I want to believe thats not your name, becoz tongas respect elders, we cant stand idle and see you insult our chief like that.have respect for elders. If u utter any more insult we will eject you from this forum
Post is sinking together with the Boat (PF) mark my word. The lack of integrity in this paper has now reached its lowest alarming levels so visible even in villages where the paper does not reach. Having said that let all wait to bury this paper after SATA loses this years elections. So pipo do not be suprised by the desperation of the Post, it is the last kicks of a dying horse. It a do or die situation for them. Lets watch and see.
When the post was against SATA, they were your Gods! us the wise did not listen to em and still voted for SATA, today they support SATA they have become your enemies…us the wise we know we dont need them to win the election!!!!
@mambala1 you are so right i dont think i pity those who always part with a K 3000 everyday to read trash.
@mambala1 you are so right. I pity those who always part with a K 3000 everyday to buy trash.
Initially, the biased writings excited a few, but now…people seem tired and know the truth. I support the idea of bringing to light, Govn’ts shoddy dealings, how ever, if the private media takes clear sides, then the ultimate losser is the ordinary citizen as the media as a particular agenda for itself.
That’s the problem with our none value adding Zambian analysists who seek self preservation as opposed to the development of the masses at large.Just because you are now sharing the loot with the bweziness you think the post is the devil for exposing your under hand methods and incompetence.Ask mulongoti he will tell you.The post as far as iam concerned have been consistent in bringing out what ever the so called leaders have been doing in the closed doors and saving as a mouth for the opposition.I have made a subscription my self for the entire year to receive a copy everyday because iam a level headed person who cannot be swayed by cheap propaganda be it from the private or public media. And i strongly believe Zambia is better with the post than without it ,any day so all haters chill
It is unethical for the Post to do what they are doing. One wonders what type of journalism they studied….Matero certificates kapena????
most post journalists are from Norma Jean college like …
Individuals who refuse to reject wrong things simply because they suit their situation best are themselves the worst victims. They will have to endure the same wrong things at some point. To be above board is to set standards that know no individuals or situations, standards that do not perpetuate wrong doing. What is wrong today should be wrong tomorrow and the day after…..
why should right thinking zambians listen to the lies of these popolyongo news papers who have accepted homosexuality as the norm in our beautiful country?Affraid Memb has openly agreed that he is an aetheist thats why him and satan have agreed to marry if in their eutopia and illusionary thinking form government.Fellow zambians, foward with sober parties and presidents.MMD nafuti nafuti
fi homo wooooooooooooooooooooo
Hi munyono, Am mutinta and just a reminder that i cannot belong to a chief who is a cadre. and I repeat he must be sick in his head. mwanachingwala is behaving like is from copperbelt, kubu Bemba, he doesn’t suit to be Tonga either. VIVA HH VIVA UPND
What about ZNBC, DAIRLY mail and sikolonginjo TIMES of ZAMBIA-r they not campainig for the MMD?even a grade 7 can read between lines and draw out standard answer from your compains with governemnt media. Remove the spake from your eye before you attend to others.
A shameless Chief-cum-cadre in Mwanachingwala campaining for Rupiah Banda and not the Post campaigning for HE Michael Sata. Rupiah today has a date with 41 chiefs of Southern Province for what MMD cadre if not to illegally flag off his campaign for 2011 re-election. The Post has no favouratism of anyone Sata included. They live by their responsible mandate to provide equal newsworthy coverage to anyone. Imagine zambia without the Post. Sata is a potential candidate for Republican Presidency + people are entitled to know + question him about his thoughts on national issues. Rupiah has 24/7 on biased state media. Constitutionally Chief-Cadre you are not entitled to actively participate in politics as your mandately ends at advising Central Govt on traditional matters, finito.
# 50 MAMA C. You live on mass. The Post team is a vibrant responsible and independent private media and cannot be compared to biased Vuvuzelas in ZNBC, Times of Zambia, Zambia Daily Mail. Because of their poor news coverage they are all heavily indebted and their newspapers can’t sell. Check only recently ZDM reviewd ZMK40 billion debt and they want write off! I last ready Times of Zambia in 1998 and ready and enjoy ethical daily writings of the Post and have not missed a copy or posting. Post bauze. Viva Mmembe, Chansa Kabwela. Madam get CD copy” 2011 We Want peaceful Change” by Kwanga Jazzy Band song” Finshi Mwacitile Batata Ba Kaunda Wesu”. Its not for the chiken hearted, Ronnie Shikapwasha sampled one and got irritated
What do you expect from the media controlled by the government? I don’t think that all journalists from Times of Zambia and/or Daily mail are always happy to report what they report. They cannot just bite the finger that feeds them. The Post being an independent paper wasn’t supposed to sink so low and follow their senseless counterparts. The Post has now become like campaign paper, they did it during the last elections and yet Mr. Sata lost, they are doing it now and only Heaven knows what will follow next…
Please get me right here, am not a supporter of any party in Zambia, Iam actually confused about who to vote for come elections time… I too what change but I don’t just see any alternative to MMD at the moment.
Ba Chief what do you have to say about ZNBC, Daily Mail, Times of Zambia on MMD? the state owned media? you expect them to be showing Sata decampaining the ruling MMD? would we even know this Sata exists if it were so? The Post is doing a tremendous job and we should encourage even other private media to do the same, this is our country lets not allow selfish individuals to destroy it! whether they support PF or UPND or whatever, no one is forced to buy Post so stop reading it ba Chief and read “state owned” that way you will be able to tell your subjects about the “development”. You should visit Copperbelt and see how The POST sells here! when you stop your car for a newspaper the first paper you are offered is always the The POST Newspaper we read it big time! The choice is yours:)

I am just wondering….if Chief Mwanachigwala had said something in support of the PF or Sata, would my comrades here still call him a cadre or other insults the traditional leader has been subjected to?
if soùmeone doesn’t campaign for the him who will, everyone and everything has been corrupted by these old frugal pipo !!
what is sooo wrong with the post publishing about sata? what about what goes on daily mail, times and znbc? are the mobile hospitals here to last? what is the life span of these mobile clinics considering there sensitive equipments and conditions of our roads. we experienced Chinese vehicles compared to south african vehicles…. am ashamed being zambian.
# 43 You’ve made my day. By the way, hospitalz ideally should admit patients for az long az the medics see it fit. So being admitted on a mobile hospital meanz you’ll have to merry-go-round withe facility until you get better and then they bring you back to your place of abode?
No.61 This Mwanachigwala is a well known MMD cadre the last time i checked in the papers he had some run ins with HH.So his comments are totally expected. There is a difference between supporting the party in government and being a party cadre. This man is a well known party cadre who has stripped himself of all forms of decency whatever. If i was RB there are certain characters i would refuse to speak on my behalf as they tend to dilute even well intended messages just by their names and presence.
His highness the CHIEF! ? No wonder some villages will remain backwards with no infrastructure to show for. You should be supporting permanent structures for clinics and schools in your area, that’s development. What is next, mobile schools? we are here for 2 weeks, see you in 3years time!! Learn to consult your subjects. Pure MMD puppet, what a shame!!
Bravo to the Southern Highness’s .They are true patriots who have the interests of their subject at heart .RB has only himself to blame for the low popularity ratings which started from day 1
HIS ERRORS:
1.firing Magande
2.Chiluba
3.Turning state house into a TENDER BOARD for his family
4.Zamtel sale
5.Corrupt elements:Dora, RP capital ,GADAFFI’S lap-green
6.90% cabinet of easterners ,even Tribalist CHiluba govt was more balanced.
7.Sweeping aside what LEVY had left as policies
8.Devepoment is centered only in eastern province
9.Not being a shrewd politician who listens to what people want.Levy was shrewd and
listened as a result Sata had nothing to speak against him they even reconciled.
10.For killing my tribesmen in western province ,you have lost the province that made you…
Good conclusion Lilato Goodnight
Please please Don’t insult our Chief you Bembas or else will insult Mwata too. have you forgotten how he supported Banda also to the point of Differing with Sata. The post is Headed by two Bembas speakers in the name of Membe and Malupenga from Luapula. Their writting is all about supporting there fellow bemba speaker and use it as a toll against other tribes , especially poor Tonga. Today they talk about Andy. They also acused him of triblism with Sata. these are fools.
