The Faz Super Division on Saturday enters week 17 with second placed Zesco United seeking to take advantage of leaders Zanaco’s absence from the weekend’s action to go on top.
Zanaco, who are in Lubumbashi to face DR Congo side TP Mazembe in Saturday’s friendly, are two points clear off Zesco with 37 points in 17 games.
Zesco face Nakambala Leopards at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Coming from a 3-2 win over Napsa Stars last week,the Ndola side is poised to collect maximum points off Nakambala who are smarting from a 3-1 loss at Power Dynamos in their last fixture.
Elsewhere, defending champions Power face struggling National Assembly in Lusaka.
Power’s city rivals, Nkana begins life after firing coach Linos Makwaza when they confront Green Buffaloes at Arthur Davies Stadium on Sunday under acting head coach Zeddy Saileti and his deputy Gift Kampamba.
