MMD leader Dr. Nevers Mumba has advised President Michael Sata to stop intimidating diplomats serving in Zambia.
Dr. Mumba, a former Zambian envoy to Canada stated said it is unwise for any leader to attack diplomats serving in the country.
He was commenting on President Sata’s continued threats on diplomats over their alleged meddling into internal politics.
Dr. Mumba observed that President Sata should use diplomatic channels to address any concerns he may have with the conduct of some diplomats.
He said launching public attacks on the diplomatic community over unsubstantiated allegations is unfortunate.
“No diplomat wants to serve in a mission where you are not respected and the Head of State calls you names, it’s so demeaning and very uncomfortable,’ Dr. Mumba said.
NEVER IS REALLY AN IDIOOT. IN YOUR CORRUPT DIPLOMATIC MISSION DID YOU EVER SEE DIPLOMATS GETTING INVOLVED IN INTERNAL MATTERS OF THOSE COUNTRIES? IF YOU DO YOU GET SENT BACK IMMEDIATELY. THE SAME THING SHOULD APPLY TO ZAMBIA. I ALWAYS WONDER IF NEVERS USES HIS HEAD AT ALL.

Nevers is such a clueless politician, does he honestly expect the diplomats he’s been frequenting will win him an election? Already the so called diplomats have been playing him and the tribalist against each other sizing them up.Preacher man get serious and stop being a tool of imperialists against your own country. Offer solutions to our country’s development if at all you have any.

There are so many alternatives to the trial and error approach which is unfolding in your country. Think out of the box and ask your beloved leaders to do simple things such as turning the economy of the country around. What is the direction of the Zambian? Your mining sector is standing at cross roads and, why are you not benefiting from copper record high prices? Who is benefiting from your resources? Who is running the Zambian economy? Sata never threatened any diplomat accredited to Zambia, but merely reminded them that they are bound by the provisions of the Geneva convention in their duties and must cease to interfere in Zambia’s internal politics, failure to which they will be crossing the line and will be expelled.
Sata never mentioned any diplomat or mission by name.
I support Sata & the govt stand on this. Foreign missions and their representatives must respect our sovereignty and internal politics just like we respect theirs.

In fact 99% of the rhetoric from Zambia is hardly questioned by the citizens of Zambia and the citizenship is brainwashed into buying the concept that if they praise the leadership for absolutely doing nothing, then development somehow will occur. Mumba is just your messeger like any opposition leader i.e. HH. Do not hurt him. Stop being emotional, you Zambians solve your identity resolution first, then once you deal with that human developmental model, you can create true working relationships with p PF or UNPD, MMD. If you have not sucessfully solved your individual identities, then, you will never understand the benefits of any relationship be at micro level, macro level or messo level.
