Chipolopolo forward Fashion Sakala is celebrating after scoring for his Saudi club Al-Fayha in their 4-2 Pro League victory against Al-Riyadh on Monday.
Sakala was voted player of the match.
The former Zanaco and Nchanga Rangers star registered his goal in the 23rd minute as Al-Fayha doubled their lead at home.
Mukhair Al-Rashidi, Yassine Benzia and Silvere M’boussy were the other scorers for Al-Fayha.
Sakala was thrilled by his team’s tenth victory of the season.
“Amazing victory, great performance from the team,” Sakala said in a post-match comment.
“Thank you so much for your support and the hard work continues,” he said.
Al-Fayha are ninth on the 18-team league table with 38 points in 31 matches.
Sakala’s team is 41 points behind Pro League leaders Al-Nassr with three matches left to play in the season.
He has been at Al-Fayha since August 2023, scoring 39 goals in 90 appearances.
