Promoted Kabwe Warriors warmed-up for Nkana with a resounding 3-0 win over Roan United at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya on Thursday.

Warriors have been invited by Nkana on Sunday for their official re-commissioning of Nkana Stadium after a US$450,000 year-long facelift.

Vincent Chenda, former Napsa Stars midfielder Bitwell Phiri an ex-Nkana striker Ronald Sakapaji scored a goal each for Warriors.

Warriors, who arrived on the Copperbelt on Thursday for a four-match pre-season series, this afternoon face Mighty Mufulira Wanderers at Shinde.

On Saturday, Warriors travel to Chililabombwe to play Konkola Blades before returning to Kitwe for Sunday’s welcome home party for Nkana.

  1. Ba Roan imwee! lets be serious with our game, the season is opening soon and we need to prepare adequately.

  2. That is very nice Warriors, we need to reclaim our position in the Zambian football. Congrats and let us show them what we are made of. Walyanganga,!

  3. Encouraging indeed..! but will the impi boys be paid for their run when they play league games?

  4. FiMopani akaso! How can you spend pocket change to renovate the stadium? You have a lot of money you should have built Nkana a modern stadium. I hope you are no longer giving them (Nkana) $5,000 a month. It is time we regained our past glory. We may need to chase you away, if you continue with your bad manners!

  5. Where are the photos of the $450,000 renovations of a stadium? Please LT show us so we can discipline ifi fi Mopani!
