Zesco Utd to Honour Chibombo Bus Victims

Zesco United will wear black armbands and observe a minute of silence during todays Faz Super Division game against Nkwazi in memory of last months Chibimbo bus crash.

50 people died in the Post Bus crash that claimed mostly citizens of Ndola where the club is based.

“To commemorate the disaster and identify the club with the city’s community, the club will this Saturday observe a minute of silence and our players will wear black armed-band as a sign of respect for our departed supporters and members of our community,” stated zescounitedfc.com.

Meanwhile, the game will be the second in a Levy Mwanawasa Stadum doubleheader that will also see Forest Rangers host Nkana in the lunchtime kickoff.
