Weekend Scorecard:Mighty Fire Israel Mwanza

Mufulira Wanderers have fired coach Israel Mwanza.

Club secretary Fernando Bwalya confirmed on Monday.

Wanderers hired the ex-Zambia and Nchanga Rangers defender early last season after firing Kellies “Paymaster” Mwaba.

Bwalya said Mwanza was sidelined prior to Sunday’s 2-1 away win over Ndola United at Musa Kasonka Stadium in Ndola.

Fredrick Kashimoto, who was Mwanza’s deputy, took charge as Wanderers recorded their first win of the 2013 FAZ Division One North season.

Wanderers have now collected five points after Week Six matches played at the weekend.
