Education, Science, Vocational Training and early education Minister Dr. john Phiri says despite Zambia being declared a Christian Nation, it is still beset by numerous evils.
Dr. Phiri said government alone cannot deal with many of the challenges facing the country without the help of God.
ZANIS reports that the minister said this during the Morning Star Bible College graduation ceremony in Lusaka, yesterday.
He said this in a speech read for him by Chief Education officer for Specialized Services James Chilufya.
The Minister urged pastors in the country to seek to hear God’s voice, saying it is impossible to minister to people without hearing from God.
And Morningstar Bible College Director Sangsoon Park urged the graduates to avoid approaching spiritual matters with human wisdom.
Ms. Park state that the only way spiritual matters are supposed to be approached is with inspiration from the Holy Spirit.
She charged the graduates to be courageous and be ready for persecution, saying the world will hate them in the same way it hated Jesus.

Secondly, anyone who has read the Bible knows that the kingdom of God does not come by declaration, but by demonstration. No matter how much the goat declares it is a dog, it can never ever become one except by birth.

I think evil exists everywhere, there is nothing you or me can do to completely eliminate it from society we can only try to control it, how then do we do this? this is were the government, the church and the masses come in? the Government how? by making sure that all the necessary ailments that lead to the vices of evil are dealt with comprehensively, take care of the economy to make sure that people can eat, manage Health care, education tackled to mention just a few. How does the church come in? helping the youth socially and spiritually, be supportive and help were they can not be helped at home, finally the masses themselves in all areas of life, by using your own medula oblongata which has been given to all of us for free.

Who is to blame when a child molester abuses a child, when there is an accident that occurs naturally? Yesterday evening I was watching TV2 and the topic of discussion was ‘are there any VIRGINs in Zambia today???’ TV2 interviewed people on the streets and the answer was there are very very few indeed. Probably one out of every five hundred thousand. That speaks volumes about this so called Christian Nation. Zambia is not a Christian Nation period….! In a Christian Nation all unmarried women and men are Virgins!! That is what obtains in an Islamic Nation. Zambia desires to be a Christian Nation but is not a christian Nation THANKS.
