New Konkola Blades coach Beston Chambeshi has appointed John Munkonje as his assistant.
Chambeshi confirmed Munkonje’s appointment on Thursday morning.
“I am working with John Munkonje in Chililabombwe,” he said.
Munkonje was a long serving assistant at Power Dynamos before he was fired together with his boss Chambeshi last June.
The other assistant coach at Konkola Stadium is Enos Silwimba who was demoted to the role of deputy following the arrival of Chambeshi earlier in July.
Meanwhile, Chambeshi begins his two-year tenure this Saturday when Blades hosts Kabwe Warriors in Chililabombwe.
Blades lie 12th on the FAZ Super Division table with 16 points in 14 matches.
