COPPERBELT Patriotic Front (PF) chairperson Mwenya Musenge has said the party is intact and united for President Michael Sata even in the wake of endorsement differences among some members.

Mr Musenge who is Copperbelt Minister said the divergent views on endorsement of President Sata should not suggest that the PF was embroiled with divisions.

He said to the contrary, the current divergent views in the PF over the endorsement of President Sata should be viewed as a true mark of vibrancy in the party.

Mr Musenge said in an interview in Kitwe over the weekend that the general membership of the party was all united for President Sata.

“When you listen to all those endorsing President Sata, they are all saying the same message and even the general populace all agree that the Head of State needs a lot of support.

“As members of the party, we need to rally behind the president moreover we are able to see the development such as the Link-Zambia 8000 and the Pave-Zambia road projects which are unprecedented,” Mr Musenge said.

He said it was normal in a party to experience differences like the current happenings saying they were an indication of how vibrant the PF was.

“What is happening in the PF shows the vibrancy of the party and we are confident the captain of the ship will be able to give guidance and so these issues should not worry anyone,” he said.

Mr Musenge was confident also that the PF would emerge a much strengthened party in view of the current differences, which he said was merely a self-refining process for the party.

  1. To put it plan, fire Kabimba and get rid of all MuMmembe’s minions. PF needs to shape own destiny and not one dictated by those that have never been voted for by the Zambian people.

  2. Bwana Musenge dream on.Even the operators of the Titanic thought they could save it too….untill it finaly sank.

  3. “COPPERBELT Patriotic Front (PF) chairperson Mwenya Musenge has said the party is intact and united for President Michael Sata even in the wake of endorsement differences among some members.“

This statement is false and confusing to the one making it!!!

  4. Yes or No on this issue. People outside PF wonder as to where all these squabbles are escalating from. It seems they know or they are told that the big man will not stand. PF is for H.E. Sata and no one can challenge him since he does not need to call for someone to stand with.

  5. PF is not a political party but loose association of failed politicians of KK era, turn-coats, geriatric pseudo-technocrats, rogue businessman and self serving demagogues.
