Emmanuel Chitoma registered a brace as Kitwe United thrashed struggling Mighty Mufulira Wanderers 3-2 in the FAZ Division One North match at Kachofa Stadium in Mufulira on Sunday.
Chitoma scored a first brace before Rupert Musonda inked the third goal for the Buchi Boys late in the second half.
Taonga Bwembya and Panji Sikanyika scored a goal each for relegation threatened Wanderers.
The Buchi Boys have completed a double over Mighty whom they humbled 2-0 in the reverse fixture on May 12 in Kitwe.
The win has pushed fourth placed Kitwe to 43 points on the table while Mighty who are fourteenth on the table remain stuck on 26 points after a round of 25 matches.
Elsewhere, Indeni maintained their stay at the top of the FAZ Division One North table after beating Kalewa 1-0 in the Ndola derby on Sunday.
Simon Mwenya scored a lone goal that helped Indeni overcome Kalewa at Indeni Sports Complex in Ndola’s Ndeke area.
The win pushes Indeni to 50 points, one behind second placed National Assembly who have a game in hand.
Assembly beat Mufulira Blackpool 1-0 in Lusaka to move to 49 points.

Ba Gumu Gumu
I grew up watching the likes of Ba Chachacha, John Simbotwe, Emment Kapengwe, UCAR Chitalu (before he transfered to Kabwe Warriors).
We had Ba Bewell Chibwe who was at Kitwe Boys playing for Kitwe United and he almost joined Aston Villa. He was later poached by the then Zambia Army FC (before they changed name to Buffaloes). at the time it was easy for them to poach because he was undergoing compulsory national service with ZNS.
One day we hope to see Kitwe return to the Premier league. The local derby with Rhokana now Nkana were good.
