I think we can safely say that between 2011 and 2016, we as a country are going through a ‘phase’ or in other words, a period when the country decides to rest from having a president, a five year hiatus to reflect on a number of issues and then we decided to put a seat warmer in state house in readiness for a real president in 2016 so that we can rejoin the rest of the world. I am beginning to like HH as a Presidential candidate and Presidential material. Many words from the President have not been mature lately even the decision he has made recently have not been good. Mr.Sata was against interfering with the appointment of chiefs when RB was in power today Mr.Sata is doing the same. When Mr.Sata was in opposition he talked about Freedom of Press and promised it, when he came into power he rejected it through rejecting the country wide broadcast licenses to some private radio stations.He even called it what they fought for at independence. The bad decision such as getting loans which they dont know what to use it for. In terms of the economy no doubt HH can run it better, he has run successfully his business he can do the same for the country.

I think we can safely say that between 2011 and 2016, we as a country are going through a ‘phase’ or in other words, a period when the country decides to rest from having a president, a five year hiatus to reflect on a number of issues and then we decided to put a seat warmer in state house in readiness for a real president in 2016 so that we can rejoin the rest of the world. In the meantime, some smart guy decided that we needed a little entertainment during this period and thats when someone brought it Sata AKA Ukwa AKA m..oron of the highest order.

If this is the kind of response that is expected from the so called elected or nominated “leaders”, then we’re being ruled by dunderheads. Sata is a very useless president and my hope that come 2016 he is kicked and sent back to Mpika. His language is indeed that of a Kaponya and he has no courtesy to address issues in a mature manner. All those denying that this letter is not from state house wait for govt to disown this letter before you embarrass yourselves. You think the govt spokesman would still be quiet if this was fake! What would you say if it turns out to be genuine? It looks like many people still overrate MCS because you have never been at the end of his foul mouth. Ask some of us who have been. I for one believe this letter is in his image and therefore genuine until he says otherwise.
Well said Mr President, that was an excellent,marvellous,splendid and gorgeous reply. It just fitted the size of the one who wrote to the president in politics ,what else was he expecting no more time wasting .Sata is quite busy, developing the nation and others the known children in politics are making noise.
Both of these letters are a humiliation to civility. But the one from the president’s office sounds like one from the stone age, depicting a very tired, stressed and ash-filled brain. indeed, what a wasted brain it is! Bemba land should help in cleaning it out in 2016!
I am beginning to like HH as a Presidential candidate and Presidential material. Many words from the President have not been mature lately even the decision he has made recently have not been good. Mr.Sata was against interfering with the appointment of chiefs when RB was in power today Mr.Sata is doing the same. When Mr.Sata was in opposition he talked about Freedom of Press and promised it, when he came into power he rejected it through rejecting the country wide broadcast licenses to some private radio stations.He even called it what they fought for at independence. The bad decision such as getting loans which they dont know what to use it for. In terms of the economy no doubt HH can run it better, he has run successfully his business he can do the same for the country.
It is a possibility that this letter is fake by ZWD but the issue remains why should the president interference with the chiefs traditional affairs. And surely the President has made lots of mistakes lately. Errors we understand but “a mistake is an errors that is not corrected” John F Kennedy.

We need a degree as minimum qualification for this position! This is a very childish response especially coming from a republican president. I didn’t expect this from him. Where are his advisors? Even the grammar, punctuation & capitalization of words leave much to be desired.
This is the most ueless letter written by a president if at all it came from the president.
In terms of being disjoint, erratic, gutless and just plain cluesless, this letter and it’s author are seconf to none. This is the most undiplomatic letter I have ever seen coming from any goverment official on official headed paper.
That language is street language. Apart from the fact that in the letter Mr Sata has clearly said he does not respect any one or any one else’s opinion, He has shown that his standard of thinking is really questionable.

I think this response should be put into context. Sata and HH were supposed to go it together in 2011. HH thought Sata was not fit to be president…he wanted to be president. The two locked hones. Sata prevailed. Since then HH has never given ba Sata any respect. I think ba Sata has resolved not to give HH any respect as a matter of reciprocity. As we speak right now, HH treats ba Sata as unintelligent, misguided, as someone who is in state house by mistake. Frankly why should ba Sata treat him any differently?

I’m shocked that such a letter can be originated from State House. The content is repulsive and the style non-standard (abbreviations, short forms, poor punctuation) My!
This a poorly done cut and past job. If the originators of this letter really wanted people to believe them they could have taken time and did a better job. According to the originators of the letter it was written and delivered on Friday Dec. 27 and was responded to on Monday 30th Dec. 2013 (State house must have been in a hurry to respond). Poor English, mixing ‘I’ and ‘We’. Why write the words “Guess Work” in title case in middle of of a sentence.
State house can write better English, bloggers don’t be too quick to comment or else you just show that you don’t analyse issues.
