Probe Kabimba too – ZYAFAC

PF SG and Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba

Zambian Youths Association in the Fight Against Corruption (ZYAFAC) has challenged the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) to publish the findings of the corruption allegations against former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba and Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba for which they were cleared.

ZYAFAC Executive Director, Rickson Kanema says by so doing the ACC will win public confidence and trust as this will help avail the facts of the matter as to how the case against Mr. Mwamba has resurfaced.

Mr. Kanema said that the fight against corruption should not be seen to be selective if Zambia is to maintain a good name in fighting corruption.

He said the revival of corruption investigations against Mr. Mwamba is not a good example of fighting corruption when he was cleared earlier by a competent organization mandated to fight corruption.

Mr. Kanema has since challenged the Zambia Police Service clearly state whether it implies that the ACC is an incompetent body for earlier closing the case against Mr. Mwamba.

He added that the Zambia Police should also proceed to reopen investigations against Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba in the same manner they have done with Mr. Mwamba.

    • The costs far outweighs the benefits of probing Kabimba, why don you people learn?

You are paying for the costs of these ‘probes’ and courts.

Where do you draw the line?. If You are not happy with PF don’t bloody vote them in 2016.
ENOUGH wasting people’s monies, this is effectively a game of never ending. Chasing the wind

Mr Kabimba will not be dropped , not charged not jailed if history and the president’s actions/inactions are anything to go by. This is effectively a scam where the losers are you and I?

Your weapon is in your vote.

I am sick and tired of innuendos thinking they are smart but they are forgetting to look at their own shadow first

Give up, and warn these powermongers and DEFECT, you will see the president doing the right thing

      Thanks

    • @Mushota……and that is perfect. Today, whatever bloggers call you…I salute your mature and fact based contribution!! And this is the question — why don’t you blog from this deep reservoir of wisdom you rightly possess all the time. Cos ba Mushota, at times mulindabwisha…..ki ki ki!!!

    • Am also suprised…sometimes nga babuka bwino ba Mushota….filawana…but at times….awe mwe. Maybe someone uses his/her blog name at times..Kudos Mushota…

    • For the first time I have seen a lot of sense in Mushota’s blog. She really needs to be applauded. Where do you hide this wisdom all the time.

    • Mushota did you forget to take your medicine? Have you turned a new leaf? as that is not like you. But you’re talking sense on this occasion.

    • Somebody must have hacked Mushota or we are witnessing desperate cry to explain power of real democracy. The right to vote “in” or “out”.

    • Mushota,
I’m shocked, so are some other bloggers.
Keep up the positive side and for once and forever more, stand for majority of poor Zambians without a voice.
The Rich and Poor should attract each other, only in Zambia where the poor only attract the poor because the elites’ have abandoned them.
Mushota and Masebo on a positive side all of the sudden urge today, while!
Something is about to happen, fingers crossed.

  1. The ACC is one of the most corrupt institutions in Zambia, because it behaves like a sister political party to every party in Government. It sides with the ruling party always.
This issue is like the Supreme court acquits you, then the High Court comes from behind and convicts you i.e. the ACC is more into corruption cases than the Police which more into general cases. Rubbish, the ACC director must resign and disband the entire ACC.

  2. Never heard of such an organisation, we must probe you first, why this organisation, when we have structures in Governement dealing with the youths of which Hon.kambwili is chairman, even in your tunthemba parties you have a your league, who gave you the licence? where are your HQ, FINANCES, LEADERSHIP ETC

  3. Kabimba is the de-facto President, deputised by the Bwinjimfumu mafia. Such calls will definitely fall on deaf ears

  4. @aNYOKO

that the problem with Zambians, It does not matter who has said something, if what they say makes sense we need to read it and debate it. why do want to know where they are so that you send your Panga Family to sort them out? Definitely there is something fishy on the GBM investigations. When GBM and WK accused each other ACC started the prob then they cleared the two. Now that GBM is out of favour with ba Chumbu, investigations have started. where were the police when ACC closed the matter. I might not be happy with corruption but morality in the way we wage the fight matters.

  5. kabimba is the son of Sata and you can’t expect the son of the president to be probed while the father is on the throne, zambians you ask too much from these dunderheads

  6. KABIMBA!

KABIMBA AND GBM WERE INVESTIGATED BY THE ICC WHO CLEARED THEM.

GBM IS NOW FACING MORE SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS
OF FRAUD BY THE POLICE AND THE ACC.
HE PRESENTED LETTER HEADED DOCUMENTS WHICH HE PURPORTED TO HAVE BEEN ISSUED BY TIMBER BOARDS OF ZAMBIA AND ZIMBABWE.

  7. Our Kabimba And GBM Were Investigated And Cleared By The ICC.

GBM Is Now Facing More Serious Allegations
Of Fraud By The Police And Not By The ACC.
He Falsified Letter Headed Documents Which He Claimed Were Issued By Timber Boards Of Zambia And Zimbabwe When Not.

Police Throughout the World Keep Files On individuals Whom They Know Are Involved In Shady Business deals such as Drug Trafficking, Money laundering etc. They Keep The Files Closed And Reactivate Them When And If They Feel Like.

  8. It’s a govt of ifikopo and ifipuba because a normal person can’t clear somebody then after 2days jst because u differ on principle u again start the investigation.ACC is corrupt and should be closed.I think even the chairman is ashamed and should resign on moral grounds if he/she has principles. It’s so shamed for a country.I supported PF but on this one i’ll support GBM and make sure PF loses election in Kasama.People are not happy to tell the truth of ubupuba bwa ba PF.Kabimba should be investigated too otherwise Ba sata will see how he’ll lose election in 2016.People don’t love injustices.Banda lost becasue of the same.I voted for PF Coz RB and William banda started behaving like gods.Same will happen to PF if Ba sata can’t change ubupuba.People will even vote 4 HH just coz of…

  9. @MOSCOW(op)

You are #1 ichikopo or ichipuba.

GBM’S case is not an ACC but a FRAUD case.

As earlier stated, police throughout the world, keep confidential files on individuals including ministers and MDs whom they suspect of shady business deals such as drug trafficking, money laundering etc.
They keep those files closed and reactivate only when and if they feel like. Its their prerogative.
So there’s no correlation between Hon. Kabimba’s closed corruption case and GBM’s FRAUD case.
    HH, president of which country!
Why don’t you advise him to start campaigning in villages of our country instead of bribing a few chiefs with his money and gifts.

  10. ACC and Police are all corrupt like their PF government and they have no morals in their action. Well this is good because PF has just done the good work to de-campaign themselves. Thanks

  11. Its amazing how some people are always blogging on each and every topic. kaya where they get the time. and you wonder why you are not progressing.. hence you take all the frustration after anyone opposing you. get a life and a proper job. that bloging time can be used for thinking about good enterprise ideas. Key board utopia politics and ideas which even you yourself you cant practice in real life wont take you anywhere. mukalakalipafye lyonse ati your friends are stealing kanshi its you who cant use your time wisely and fruitful. The politicians you are even arguing about dont even know u exist. majority of the coments are empty, ubupuba ,ubushilu , nobukopo combined in onee thing. whether or not you win an arguement on LT the guy is in state hse and bambi balechema ing’ombe.

    • The Matrix i certainly agree with some bloggers just talk stuff that has no importance to the topic or subject being debated . but i think you are rather too hash in your comments. Blogging is used to provide a unique way for people to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and opinion. In today’s internet-based society young zambians want to view the opions this way rather than the tradional way of listening into a phonein radio program to which time is very limited.they dont need to be known by any potical establisment, but what matters is politician or law makers to study the treads if the majority do agree with them or not. you can post comments while on bus or train to and from work or college like am doin now.

  12. The day this guy will be selected to stand on the PF presidential ticket will be the day that the PF will understand what defeat is. Just by looking at him, he is easy to dislike. Worse off, he is ineffective as Justice Minister and is virtually not electable. He has never successfully held elected office and talks from the view point of an illiterate fellow.
No matter what happens, one thing for sure is that this guy cannot win a single province.

  13. I went into time and the year was 2016, lo and behold, i saw once upon time a great king fall like lightning because he had allowed himself to be manipulated and controlled by a few selfish individuals that appeared to have horns on their heads. He that has an ear, let him hear.

  14. Wenzelu you remind of Maestro just when Lusakatimes was established who could contribute none stop thinking his preferred political party will win unfortunately the person he called names came always second. In 2011 we debated with our almighty brains that God has given us, Maestro, KuKu, senior citizen, and my dear brother from CB Nkana projected the results based on reliable sources on the ground comparing to 1990 – 1991 change. Politics of hate that is deep rooted in one self can not win you any election. Campaigning behind the keyboard will never take your preferred person to plot one. Go to zambia and see infrastructure developments roads, hospitals, schools and others . The down fall of keyboards politics is that the people who vote in rural areas are seeing a change since UNIP era.

  15. Effective prosecution of corruption cases cannot be achieved without an effective and competent judicial system that functions efficiently, independently and impartially. – the first time i will absolutely agree with MUSHOTA. I QUOTE “You are paying for the costs of these ‘probes’ and courts” lets not fool ourselves abena zambia our courts/judicail system are very partisan with the goverment of the day-MY BEST ADVISE IS LETS USE THE NEXT ELECTION TO TO GET RID OF THE CURRENT GOVERMENT- I am not an expert of the subject but i think from my laymans knowledge a HOLISTIC approach should be prioritised. when dealing with corruption!!!

  16. We had -a Wizards Witch
    -a Thief Killer
    -a son of God
    -a Tribalist
    -now a Tribalist,witch
corruptive,Thief ,politicians killer & never understanding. what can he do for the zambians?
Only segregating them.Let’s try HH since he seam to to honest. He’s the only solution for this panyo f.o.o.ls (pf).

    Thanky.

  17. I like Kabimba’s lack of interest in money or being rich. I hate his obsession with Cuba, North Korea, Sudan and bloody communism. He should also stay clear of the Post. They have their own agenda unfortunately crafted with the DBZ loan in mind that hangs around their neck like a necklace of stone.
