Festus scores again for Arrows

Festus Mbewe on Saturday helped inspire troubled Golden Arrows to a 4-1 away win over Platinum Stars.

Mbewe scored Arrows’ second goal in the 45th minute to help them to 2-1 halftime lead before he was substituted in the 70th minute.

The Zambia striker has now scored two goals in nine games since joining Arrows in January on a six month loan deal from Nkana.

Meanwhile, compatriot Christopher Katongo started the match but was not on target before he was substituted in the 87th minute Defender Joseph Musonda was on the bench.

Arrows remain bottom of the table despite the win with 18 points six points behind Free State Stars with three matches left to play.
