The opposition Forum for Democracy and Development FDD has questioned the logic behind republican president Michael Sata’s claims that the opposition UPND wanted to hijack him.

FDD spokesperson Antonio Mwanza said the statement by the president is an indication that the people surrounding him have failed and a sign that he needs help

“As FDD we find the statement by the president that UPND wanted to hijack him very, very unfortunate and an indication that the people managing the president have really failed to manage to him,” said Mr. Mwanza.

Mr Mwanza noted that it was unfortunate that the president can make himself a spectacle of drama and comedy in such a manner as everyone in the country knows that the president is the commander in-chief of the armed forces and is in control of all the armed forces in the country as well as law enforcement agencies which he could have used to bring the alleged criminals to book.

“It is very unfortunate that the president can make a spectacle of drama and comedy in such a fashion because all of us know that the president is the commander in-chief of the armed forces in the country so if he has information that some people wanted to abduct or hijack him then why not use the law enforcement agencies to bring the alleged criminals to book instead of issuing alarming statements in public,” said Mr. Mwanza.

He said,” President Sata really needs help because the people managing him do not care how he conducts himself either in public or private.”

Mr. Mwanza further said it is embarrassing that the president has continues conduct himself in a manner not befitting that of the head of state as he continues to make himself a spectacle whenever he appears in public.

Called on the people managing the president to ensure that the president is restrained from making such wild statements in public.

Yesterday republican president Michael Sata accused the opposition UPND of plotting to hijack him a statement the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema rubbished as a ploy by the president to divert the attention of the public from the challenges affecting the country such as the high cost of living.

  1. very true the president has failed…….one just needs to look at how the country is being run to know that we are doomed as a nation

    • Just to let you know I shall be away from LT as we are heading to Mallorca, were it looks the proposal is coming 🙂

Thank you all for your prayers.

Back to the topic , well the I do not trust UPND and therefore think it was good to announce this hijacking. 95% of people know the hijacking intent is there.

      Thanks

    • Sata has gone completely mad. He needs a mental evaluation more serious than the one he wished Mwanawasa should have undertaken.

All the PF minions blogging here in support of Sata’s madness are dead scared because they have no proper qualifications to hold on the jobs they have once Sata is gone. They are CNPs. They know too well that once Sata is gone those jobs will advertised and only those selected on merit will get those jobs under UPND. This madness of wako ni wako will completely be wiped out and better system of governance will be restored under UPND and HH.

Us in UPND are self made millionaires who do not need the mercy of an idi0t like Sata to survive. With or without his help we can afford to feed and educate our families well.

Sata is a walking coffin. Stupid…

    • Folks

I am personally looking at suing the President for uttering statements aimed at alarming the nation and falsely accusing an innocent citizen of treason.

I will pursue this case no matter how long it will take me. All his advisers will be answerable to that charge for wrongly advising the man and taking advantage of his mental illness and stupidity.

      Mwanya ba PF muzachaona.

    • Time for a MEDICAL BOARD to be appointed to examine Satas physical and mental competence to do the job he is supposed to be doing.

Zambia cannot afford to have such an incomprehensible ***** in state house!

    • do not wish Sata dead mwe mbwa mwe if you are bitter that Sata is the president of this country just hung yourself you fool.IT is better to vote for the corpse of Sata than kachame HH

  2. “People managing the president have really failed to manage him” has become a familiar song and we will continue listening to it for as long as its subject of reference is the leader. We have learnt new terminology such as “Chumbu munshololwa” raising questions as to who has time to waste on a hopeless case among the fear gripped hordes surrounding the president to dare take a lead to manage ‘him’?

  3. what a dangerous joke coming from our head of state , kidnap him for what , when age has already kidnaped him. such a dangerous joke has the potential to set the country ablaze

  4. Mr Antonio Mwanza, you are asking the logic of the statement as if you don’t know. You do not need to ask if you have been living in Zambia from September 23, 2011.

  5. You don’t joke on the matter of the security for the president like that it ALL seems the president doesn’t know what it means to be a president.

  6. THESE TYPE OF STATEMENTS MAY HINDER THOSE THAT WHAT TO INVEST IN ZAMBIA.SIMPLE A JOKE MAY LOOK BUT IT HAS A DANGEROUS CONSEQUENCIES ON THE FUTURE INVESTMENT IN ZAMBIA AS INVESTORS WILL THINK ZAMBIA IS ON FIRE
CAN WE CHOOSE WHAT TYPE OF JOKES PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA

  7. Sata is a joke. The Presidency is above his pay grade and intelligence. The Presidency has been degraded and soiled by this Sata dude.

  8. I dont know whether to cry or laugh at this madness. Zambians unity & peace builds z nation. PF is fueling division & conflict. Vote PF out in 2016.

  9. where is mushota and saulosi give us your usual foolish coments so that you get completly washed out poor guys

  10. The truth is that ever since the President embarked on forsaking the real base (The Bemba Kingdom and the people of Kasama) that ensured his ascendance to power, the man has developed a sustained disease of living in fear of the unknown. Apparently, this frightened man is expressing his fear for his life to an innocent audience in Southern Province.

If he had any trace of courage, he should have made a public apology to the Paramount Chitimukulu- Elect and allowed the Bemba Traditional process conclude the installation of the New Chitimukulu. Unfortunately, Mpezeni and Nkomesha who seem to be closer to the President have no capacity to advise their cherished President.

Leave HH alone rather than generate smoke screens to hide real causes of Sata’s FEARS.

  11. When online media become an avenue to take out one’s anger and frustration and Head of State is ridiculed, it is time to leave. So far all contribution on this story are against Mr. Sata, some even calling him names. Either he shall shake his ministers, PSs and distance himself from selfish cartel, bring visible change and development to counter dissatisfaction amongst the majority of Zambians or call it quit to avoid embarrassment and prosecution after he leaves office and persecution of his loved ones. There is no other option left for him.

  12. I once personally heard HH saying “Satan is Lord” in a Masonic ritual before biting the head off a monitor lizard and drinking its blood. Now can anyone prove that I’m lying? You cannot, so therefore it must be true

  13. If the intention was to set panga wielding PF cadres,Soldiers and the Police against UPND then the scheme failed lamentably. The God Zambia serves is greater
