Today’s Post Edition headline quoting beleaguered Kabwata MP given Lubinda cannot go without comment. If the MP was correctly quoted then we wonder what exactly he is intending to achieve by deceiving himself that he is still a factor in today’s political dispensation in Zambia.
To start with Given Lubinda has a lot of battles to fight within his own political party which has dumped him after using him. He needs to rediscover his political identity because he is currently a lost soul. If he wants to see reality he just needs to check the numbers in the register in his constituency and he will know that that come 2016, he is gone.

We know Given is trying to justify his existence in the party which dumped him due to his treacherous behavior. He cannot be trusted and even his statements should be not be taken seriously by any reasonable person. How does he think anyone will take him serious when his own party rejected him? He should realize that Kabwata has one of the most educated populations in the country and that people cannot be deceived by his acrobatic antics meant to facelift his dwindling political fortunes. If indeed he is blind to the fact that the ground is no longer holding for the PF in Lusaka, let him try to pave way for a by election in his constituency so that he can feel the heat from the non-existent opposition.
It is surprising that the once vibrant MP has reduced himself to be used as a mopping cloth in the PF, but this does not surprise us because existence in his party for under weights like him is through patronage and bootlicking. We still remember how recently everybody in his PF party was calling for his blood due to his two-faced behavior. Not long ago he was used to oppose the ‘constitution motion’ in parliament against the wishes of his employers, the voters of Kabwata. He thought this was going to get him noticed by the real PF owners but alas that was another futile exercise. He must be aware by now that his ambitions to take over the leadership of PF are unachievable so he better find other things to do.
We advise Given Lubinda to direct his efforts to convince us that his 10 years in parliament has produced the much needed development to alleviate the unprecedented suffering his PF has subjected the people of Kabwata through the skyrocketing mealie meal and fuel prices. He should be able to point out what projects he has pioneered as an MP to justify his continued stay in the house than wasting his time attacking the opposition. As UPND we are on the ground to make sure that useless PF MP’s like Mr Lubinda are retired in the next 1 and half years.

It has become fashionable for PF MPs and their Ministers to create comfort for their leader Michael Sata by telling him that there is no opposition worth talking about in Zambia and that PF will have it easy in 2016.But every Zambian knows that this is self deceiving.The likes of Lubinda,Kalaba and Munkombwe should explain why any time the opposition want to hold a meeting including at their own Secretariates either the PF thugs or the Police would disrupt it.What does PF fear???

If PF is trully still a factor in Zambian politics why not go ahead with the pending by elections so that we see who is who between PF and UPND. They have told the court not to expel f00lish Siamunene and Monde from UPND because they are wimps dead scared that UPND will prevail over them again.
In Eastern province, PF is trying to use Dora to campaign for PF but those efforts are now futile as the UPND is gaining traction there too. They were in a hurry to cause by elections left right and centre but now after realising that UPND has become a force to reckon with, they have decided to shelf those plans.

If UPND is not a factor then why is Sata having sleepless night over UPND’s popularity. Why is he hallucinating about UPND in his dreams and when ever he attends a public function.

Now Sata has hatched a plan to assassinate HH. Let me warn Sata his minions that any attempt at HH ‘s life will be met with a massive force which will lead to Zambia into a civil war.

I predict Given Lubinda to be the next Republican President. There definately is no one either in the opposition or ruling party that can match him. Simply no one.
Lubinda is a genius and will win any election whether as MP or President, whether on PF ticket or independent. That is why PF cannot get rid of him. Moreover, he is a clean guy who hates corruption and he is not a ‘yes man’ no wonder he lost his job.

UPND used to say the same thing in 2011 that PF has lost popularity in Lusaka and the Copperbelt and that UPND has taken over. Only in UPND’s dreams and hallucinations blinded by tribalism and cattle mentality.

Can you honestly call Lubinda’s treacherous behavior to his own PF party level headed? What projects has Given initiated in Kabwata to make him a great man? I think the daily cleaning of old people’s bottoms in their homes has confused you, which this so- called guy has noticed and hence the non- proposal

If PF floated Given Lubinda in 2016, they might as well go and sleep only to work up after Elections have been announced. Having looked around among the current crop of opposition Leaders and those in the ruling party, there is no one, simply no one who can match up to this Man’s calibre.

Lots of Zambians still love Mr. Sata and still believe he can turn their lives around. They go hungry daily, spend heavily on transport daily, have no jobs, see their MPs, Ministers and others abused by Mr. Sata and yet the same people are all ready to flash the pamaka symbol. Lubinda may thus be right to say that there will be no change in 2016. As long as Mr. Sata remains at the helm of PF, the majority of Zambians are ready to be suffocated to death by him as long as he is Sata.
However the more realist situation which all of us must acquaint ourselves to is that Mr. Sata is fading now and fast. There will simply be no Mr. Sata beyond 2016 and that’s the very reason why Lubinda’s assessment of the situation is at fault. We certainly wont have PF ruling Zambia beyond Sata.

People like to be negative and shooting each other, put it in a different way, the question is, is the opposition doing enough to ensure that PF does not win the next election. Some said if to do was as easy as to say Chapels would have been churches. Yesterday I listened to an interview of our finance minister,Hon. Chikwanda on BBC Africa service. He openly discredited IMF openly on a report on Zambia’s worsening economic situation. This is the same guy who days ago was congratulating Mr.Chibamba Kanyama for being appointed to an IMF post.
Am now convinced beyond reasonable doubt that analysing his response, the Zambian economy under under PF is headed for the Chibolya pit latrine.Zambians,You can continue supporting PF because you are used to suffering. I wish you more money in your pockets, fuel @ZKW 2/Litre and every and a bumper harvest in the 2014/2015 farming season with the looming El Nino.

UPND admit you are only strong in Southern Province. Try Northern, Muchinga, Luapula, Copperbelt,Lusaka, Central and Eastern. But PF is popular in all those areas. Forget about 2016. Do you watch ZANIS news and the projects they highlight? Start warching and see how far you are.
Why are they denaying UPND permits to hold rallies if they not a factor? Lubinda should just wait for his package people’s fault have achieved there goal. Lubinda was a pawn to have won a game for them.

Mr Simusamba rather than respond to everything stick to what you are doing to raise favor of your party among the electorate especially among the rural population. Politicking seems to be restricted to Lusaka while the countryside is kept in the dark. There is a lot of noise making along the line of rail yet in far flung rural areas nothing of it is heard and the party in government in these areas is talking roads, delivering agro inputs and the like while the bickering continues in Lusaka. Because of lacking strategy Lubinda could be right! Mealie meal prices and/or cost of fuels are mainly an issue among those in cities who depend on buying these commodities those in rural areas have other worries as ease of marketing excess produce, access to better health and educational facilities etc

UPND president and businessman Hakainde Hichilema is said to have fathered a 28 years old boy with a Scottish Woman.
A Scottish woman who is believed to be a resident of Edinburgh, the country’s capital and second-largest city of Scotland has come forward seeking help on how best she can get in contact with Zambian opposition leader for United Party for Nation Development (UPND) Hakainde Hichilema (HH). According to her claims she knew Mr. Hichilema when they met at one of the University in United Kingdom as students.
